Stinger's unreliable, sure, but at lv 30 it's ~15% chance to roll that +20% to damage. I think the risk/reward ratio there on all your attacks is enough to be worth it over... whatever Rush (S) at lv 30 is for regular attacks. It's really the possibility that it can apply to your bursts that does it for me. The elemental advantage restriction doesn't bother me since I switch teams depending on element. Also, since the comparison is picking from among the different union event weapons, it's implied that you're not so tied down to a single element.

Now if you're a fire main, you'll FLB a couple of Wrath bows eventually anyway. The context here changes a bit to being annoyed at how whoever handles events hates fire. The very noticable stretches of no fire events aside, what you do get outside of old advent FLB stuff isn't all that great, relatively speaking. Having your first union event weapon's FLB being Rush is adding another insult onto the pile.

This 'whatever' is whole point here and thing we were discussing, and it is probably really low, otherwise people wouldn't bitch about it that much.

I don't consider the sword a waste of mats (enhancing-wise or advent-wise) because I'm not in a situation where I have some super powerful SLVL20 SR to replace with an SSR. I have the SR dark gun at SLVL9, which caps out at around 1400-1500 ATK, whereas the swords caps out on 2300. This is a big improvement and I don't have any other alternatives besides the spear (as in, no other event SSR LB3's to farm). This makes the sword way more appealing for me: I literally just need the stats, it's a straight upgrade to what I currently have.

Advent material wise, buying everything is advantageous because I'm so weak, I actually need almost everything including Soul Points, so the sword is great filler because it doesn't cost any N-advent material and cost a crap ton of SR + SSR material. This is good for me because N+R material can be used to buy Half Elixirs from the same event for very cheap, netting me more resources overall than I spend + gold chests drop SR weapon/eidolon enhancement material. The excess N + R material at the end I can spend on the 600 available Soul Points, which vastly accelerates the rate at which I acquire my EX skills, which would be slow as balls otherwise (400 more to D'Artagnan for SS, 700 to Joan for Trial, 900 to Hercules).

So yeah, the main point is that I need an outlet for my resources, and the sword is way better for that right now. The spear is comparatively not useful to me right now because it takes too much for too little where I currently am at, it doesn't match the rate at which my party is growing.



How can I MLB the Lance? I'm farming Ultimate on Ability-Auto, can barely do Ragnarok with an Endurance build + some elemental advantage, but GO eviscerates me, so how can I farm Orichalcon to MLB the lance?

I said IF you can only get one, get the lance since you can only get it now. If you can get all of them then just get them all and use whatever you want first.

were there any suggestions on what to spend extra oris on? or will those weapons eventually be replaced with weapons that have final limit breaks?

looking at the jp wiki, the only added weapons i see appear to be the dual skill ++ assault weapons but with very low stats. are future event weapons after the ori shop implementation not added?

How do Union Events work in terms of grinding them and obtaining rewards btw? Can't find any detailed guide on it on the wiki and I figure I kind of need to prepare.

Along with your Union, you spend AP to grind Grails. Grails can be spent for buffs by Officers to help in the BP fights, maximum of 400 a day. 100 Atk is a must, the remaining 300 are up to you (Double is better than Triple FYI).

If your Union is not aiming for rankings, you'll probably spend all your AP and BP killing the bosses throughout the week to get the necessary kills over the week and the necessary Grails to get those kills easier.

If you ARE looking for the rankings, then your Union just needs to farm 800 Grails. On one day you've agreed on, you all push as many Ult kills as possible, and on another you push for as many Expert kills as possible. You don't need to farm the fights at all outside of these. 100 Grails on Affliction and Awakened Thor for many members are a must.


Union fights will FLOOD you in weapon and Eidolon fodder, so if those are a problem to you, well, they won't be after your first Union event. Having max level weapons and especially Eidolons will be a joke after even one of these events.

personally, i use oris to FLB, or use it to buy wpns in the oris shop. some of the wpns are pretty good, but you have to decide for urself.

with the coming of ori shop the words "extra oris"...

personally i'd suggest only that light gun tho

I noticed the shop SSR weapons have great stats as well as fairly strong FLB ability bonuses. On the burst abilities, however, is there EVER a reason to use the shop SSR as a main weapon? All the Soul Weapons just seem so much better.
