Is the upcoming SSR nike worth going for? As I have a light team I'm curious if I should use jewels to go for her or save for any better upcoming Light Kamihime's? Only reason I'm looking at SSR Nike is that burst gauge fill... Tho not sure how those amulets will work.

There are blatantly better ones. Light Nike is under the "ok" category in terms of tier, since she takes forever to actually get anything going.

Tishtriya comes directly after Nike, so if anything I'd suggest you go after her rate up instead.

Speaking of tish, here's a ping to all using slashley's encyclopedia for you to reconsider her usefulness:

Skill 2 uptime and cooldown is mixed up. She casts all those offensive buffs lasting 5T, and has a 3T cd on the skill. That's actually borken.

To be fair, all light himes released after Tish are all pretty solid as well. Especially look out for Lugh and Iris after Tish.

Light Nike is the absolute Queen is long combat, but the question is: "Are there any long fights in Kamihime?"
Unless you are really struggling and tanking your way through GO, the answer to that is no so far. And for the next year.

Oops. Fixed. If anyone spots any mistakes in there, please point them out. I've said it before and I'll say it again: with thousands of cells in there, it's guaranteed that there's lots of mistakes in there. You can't PM anymore though since my inbox is full, hue hue.

I still wouldn't say that it's broken when she can only upkeep two Hime with her buffs, but JESUS that's a lot of Assault and particularly Triple rate. That certainly makes sense now why people like her so much.

When it comes to Jewel usage, I'd rather ask the question "Are you ever going to find what you want to find?" or "Is any non-Limited Hime ever worth saving Jewels on?"
You can always Miracle Ticket non-Limited after all. But yes, if you can find somebody like Tish straight up, that's always nice.

I've seen JP ppl upload videos of using her in the punching bag dmg events sometimes from next year as well. Though they could just be meme-ing with her.

UE ultimates can get really long if you're soloing them, just by nature of their ever growing HP. And if the idea of having to solo a demon fight is foreign to you, then you don't know the struggle of hanging around rank 100 :P
Like the last time we had Envy, I think ult fights in the 100-110 area took me 40+ turns.

Acala is 'worth' awakening in the sense that it actually does move her up a tier or two. The thing is, base Acala starts out at 'come off the bench at best' tier* due to being lackluster for an SSR at her role (that's the nice way of putting it). For an SSR, she was one of the worst possible ones to roll. Awakening Acala makes her actually good at fighting raging enemies, like she was ostensibly designed to do. It raises her to usable! You no longer have to hate yourself for rolling her! And in your case, she automatically gets a starting spot over Yamaraja when fighting wind catastrophe or Lust.

*assuming a decent selection of SRs to work with. The last time I used base Acala as a starter was when I still had to piece my fire team together from R's
