Tyr's ok; she currently has the only def debuff for thunder outside of the soul. Her maximal damage against stunned enemies buff has high upside, but it can be finicky to use. And certain water enemies (Sloth) don't even have rage gauges.

She'll stick in your thunder team until:
You pull Mammon and opt to fill in the last -10% def debuff through Vine (assuming you're running Sniper Shot). Don't even need Vine if you're running D'art with a particular weapon.
Or.... if we get the Walkure Romanze collaboration event (in May?), then Noel is interchangeable with Tyr depending on the encounter (Noel should be more useful against someone like Sloth). Noel has the exact same strength and type of def debuff as Tyr, except Tyr needs awakening.
Or.... you pull thunder Nyarlathotep in December and opt for the Ambush/Sniper Shot combo to ram into the debuff cap. Or settle for Vine to hit -45% def. Tyr and thunder Nyarlathotep can co-exist though; Tyr (A-frame -15% def) + Sniper Shot (B-frame -20%) + thunder Nyar (C-frame -15%) will land exactly at the -50% cap.

Since Noel is gotten through the event exchange instead of gacha, it's expected that if we get the event and you're there for it, you'll have Noel. So that puts a timer on Tyr's appeal.
What I would do is use her in your thunder team for now, but hold off on awakening. If we get Walkure Romanze, switch to Noel. If we're sure that we don't get the collab event, then consider awakening her in June or later (after Mammon is released and if you don't get her).
