Your question about Tyr was already answered in detail. She's better than nothing but not terribly useful by herself, and there are many alternatives that fill the same role. She's not someone I would build a team around.

I saw that. I was pretty much dead at that point. Early on a new player joined--triggering the Rage buffs while I was attacking--and my Soul was promptly triple-attacked to near-death. I wasn't running a healer, and once my Soul was dead that pretty much destroyed my damage capability. This made me sad because the runs I'd joined had gone much more smoothly.

For my next Legendary Soul, should I get Arthur so I can use a regalia wind weapon (my main team is wind with Gaia and Titania with Icarus, Kyuki and Garuda)?

I would plan for the long-term and not spend valuable Regalia frivolously, especially since the fragment trade-ins haven't been added to the shop yet.
