Today I got my first SR Assault Weapon from Disaster Raid.
Well, it took me some Gems to increase the skill level from 1 to 10.
But what is the best method to increase the skill level fast?
And how should my grid look like? I mean how many Assault and Defender Weapons?
I try to create weapon grits with 7 assault, 1 pride and 2 defenders. Not counting doble skill weapons.
For SR weapons, I use R weapons untill skill level 10, then I use R weapons to level up SR weapons I dont use, and later use that one to skill up the weapon I really want to use. The required R weapons are from gem gacha.
That is how I do it. Is totally possible that more experienced players use other grits. I think many people use directly 10 assault weapons, but I like to have a bit more defense.
Of course, all the weapons of the element of the team. Weapons of elements different of the Kamihime of the element no increase skill for those kamihime.
Edit to clarify: Pride weapons have a variant of assault that give more attack the less HP you have.

There's a difference, though. Pride weapons sacrifice a bit of starting power (being effectively Assault S + Pride effect) for extra damage later in a fight, and might not be so interesting if you have a lot of sustain or can finish fights before getting wounded enough.
Of course, for most of us plebs, that's a possible future issue -- not exactly a game changer right now; my main concern would be something else. Unless you're a megawhale, you only have so many weapons to choose, and sometimes you'll find yourself between, say, a MLB Pride SSR and a Disaster weapon. Or one of your teams might have more (or less) need of extra HP to clear content. Having a set formula can be pretty limiting and bite you in the ass later, especially if you're radical and decide to use SSRs as fodder.
Oh, I know Pride weapons are good. I don't like to have 2 or more Pride weapons just for personal taste; I have 2 on my water team and find the damage too swingy for my taste. That 7/1/2 that I talk before is more of a target that anything else.
On a second thought...maybe I should have not comment that on response to a new player who can take that idea too seriously.
