Meanwhile, in a chat, there might not be anyone around to correct mistakes at the moment they happen. And thus, the truth never comes to light.
The last time I looked at Discord backlogs, people were bashing Vine. Because "nobody uses it in DMM"
Yeah, that might be true. But DMM is also a year ahead of us, and has like a dozen ways to reach Def cap more than we do. This was quite the while ago, so Hraes and Thanatos at the very least have come out here since. Maybe even Mars, I don't remember when I read that.
Did anyone correct that person in Discord? No, no they didn't. Nobody told him that he was living in a delusional world a year ahead instead of the here and now. Maybe because nobody who was there cared to correct him, or maybe because those who would care weren't there at the moment, but regardless, whoever that poor soul was, he probably still thinks that Vine is useless. That wouldn't fly on a forum - people would be quick to point out the flaws of his reasoning. Well, quick on a forum timescale, so hours most likely.
I'd also like to point out the amusing little thing where you associate people to one side or the other. Particularly "dc people are the ones who correct the missinfo here." Now, isn't this a winning statement. Basically, you arbitrarily decide that whoever corrects anything here is part of Discord. A kind of a definition where one can categorize anything convenient to you on your "side," and everything not convenient to you can will just be... conveniently ignored.
