Firstly, sorry to ask this question again if already been asked.

Is there a thread gives advise on 'ideally' / 'best' team for each element?

From the research that I've done:
    1. there is a light thread and an excellent post from Bear. Is there a similar thread for other element?
    2. there is a guide from Sanahtlig. The guide is also excellent but the team section seems to be out of date. e.g. many thunder players use Jupiter but not mentioned in the guide. Is there a more up to date guide?

    Many thanks in advance.

When in doubt, go with Hercules.

    2. It is indeed a bit outdated but not like it's useless now. Some stuff with team building aren't correct anymore, but like I said it's outdated. e.g. his MT recommendation for fire or dark...
    - Fire Dakki/Uriel/Ares... it's obivous go with Uriel > Amaterasu/Mars > Dakki/Ares
    - Even max burst for wind is wrong...
    - For thunder... you won't use the next MT for Mammon if Baal U is already out.

Next year it will be useless, especially the MT recommendation. Because meta is changing for most of the elements anyway and you are getting better KHs option to use a Miracle Ticket.

Tbh I wouldn't use his Miracle Ticket or rather his team recommendation as template for the next Miracle Ticket anymore.
Because future KHs are missing, some MT prioritys aren't correct anymore, healing isn't necessary in end game later and some other stuffs.
    Thanks for confirming.

Can someone (an experienced player obv) please create a thread for team recommendation OR update Sanatlig's guide? I think it will benefit a lot of people. I really liked the format that Bear used in the 'light consolidation thread', very clear and definitive.

    Thanks in advance.

If there were authors willing to do the necessary research, communicate clearly and succinctly, and rewrite the sections as needed every 3 months or so, I'd be willing to host their content. I'm skeptical that the necessary interest exists. Bear is already dissatisfied with the guide he wrote only 5 months ago. Describing optimal party composition at a given point in time requires far too much effort, given its short shelf-life, and generates too much controversy in this community. My current focus is on content with longer shelf-life; I consider the experiment with the Team-building Guide to be illustrative of the types of content I should probably avoid.

Thanks for replying. I maintained a World of Warcraft guide a few years ago so definitely agree and understand the effort required.

I found some experienced players like yourself having to relying similar questions from new players over and over again e.g. what hero / weapon for dark? And there are so much good information buried in this 600 pages thread..

Perhaps there is a better way to keep information up to date and easier to search/ digest without much additional effort?

Just food for thoughts : FAQ? One element per thread?

Honestly I've found many subscription MMOs easier to document and discuss than this game. The bar for entry is lower because everyone is playing the same version of the game and has access to more or less the same set of abilities and equipment. Also, the code and game mechanics aren't spaghetti. In this game you have DMM veterans and Japanese-language documentation discussing future content on one end, and English players on the other concerned with current content. You also have an English version that doesn't always mirror the Japanese version at the same point in time. The interface between the two versions is thus messy and contentious. The cashing system is messy and creates artificial disparities between players.

I don't have any ready solutions. Honestly, I think there's been much more interest in problem-finding than problem-solving. Might help if discussion was more purposeful, topic-driven, information-dense, and professional. But well, that's not why most people post here.

I do agree that this thread is a poor information repository. It is a great way to heap together content so only the most avid forum followers will ever see it and no one will be able to find it at a later date.

Sorry for the noob question, but how is Shingen supposed to be used during burst times? Do you activate Provisional Forest and hope to get your burst back to 100 before the buff ends?

PF doesn't have a timer, it lasts until you burst.
