That's a very good question. No it's not only you, there's no lock/unlock button, or I can't see it.

Anyone noticed that Odin AW counterattack is bugged?
She takes full damage and don't attack back.

That could be because she doesn't have Intercept.

Third one. They basically call 'increased atk based on HP lost' counterattack now. Quite misleading if you ask me.
