Beginner here - Is there any advantage to doing expert raid over standard? I want to farm for the SR assault weapons and I think i’m getting close to a point where I can solo expert raid but I read somewhere that the drop rate is the same.

standard > expert for SR weapon fodders or assault weps but expert for more materials
but.. joining rags will also get you a lot of assault weps since ONLY assault weps drop on rags

thanks but damn I've been poking a lot of rags but I thin I've only gotten 1 assault lol

it's all luck really. you honestly have a better chance if you can get MVP cause that means more chests, but only on standard...

you're nowhere near able to get MVP on expert, much less those catastrophe fights....

but keep that in mind cause you'll eventually be grinding for something more powerful on the harder raids and MVP speeds that up a lot... the game is a step by step process really...

Question on Def Down and Resist Down. Is the 50% max limit on Defense Down include the Resist down or not. I.e. can I get 50% Defense Down and an additional 10% Resist Down or not?

If the 50% limit applies to the total of Defense Down and Resist Down, what's the point of having Resist Down? Is there any other value to it.

Yes the elemental resist ↓s count into the 50% def↓ cap. So no, they don't stack into more.

As for the point of it, increased resist ↓ also increases chances of your debuffs landing. Think of it as similar to ele advantage ↑.

bad news but resist down still counts towards the -50% def debuff cap... guess it's just for those who lack the other himes, vise versa... just sucks
on the bright side, tower event!! at least plenty of debuffers are good for that

Mirai, I don't think that this post is very clear. The MVP matters most for Standard and Expert Disaster Raids because they will drop extra plat chest that has chance to get the Assault weapon. However for the Standard and Expert Disasters there are 3 weapons that can drop from each element and they are 2 Defenders and 1 Assault, so farming those is a bit of a gamble for getting the right weapon. Also the weapon has a chance to drop in the Gold chest as well (some people have gotten 3 weapon drops from Disasters before, but that's extremely rare).

The Catastrophe Raids only drop weapons in the Gold chest and you don't need MVP or VMVP to get those to drop. Just participate in ones that look like they have a good chance to be defeated. The other nice thing about the Catastrophe raids is that they only drop the Assault SR, so it's much faster to just use your BP to farm those for the weapons you want.
