The opposite of this could also be argued; you could have a base of SSR himes to choose from but without any grid behind them, they'll have all the striking power of wet paper. And as a new player, you really only have control over one of these aspects. Considering that the gacha part of this game is RNG and not something you can rely on to build teams unless you pour significant amounts of money into it, it's basically out of your control besides the initial re-roll stuff you might get. Building a solid foundation of grids on the other hand is something anyone can do, even without spending any money. Takes a bit of time, and work... but ultimately, good grids allow even R/SR hime teams to clear most, if not all content in the game.

When will Orichalon shop update the latest raid weapon?

Never... at least not for the next year. Same holds true for eidolon orb shop.

I already have D'art gun for thunder and is working on the next soul weapon, should i get for Herc or Shingen?

Shingen is next best soul after d'art for thunder for higher burst builds, since thunder can be super fast with building gauge like Baal U, Brahma, Marduk, etc.. and iirc, shingen gets a buff in a future update? something like that.
Hercules is better for a team like wind or fire which relies heavily on buffs and nuke damage... tho i'm not quite sure.

i've just seen everyone switch out D'art for Shingen after getting Baal U.
