I don't get it why they keep bring in new stupid game and then shut them down
It just like nutaku is a beta test server

(should we keep on discussing this topic at here by the way?)

I am planning ahead for the next UE, which is water Sloth Reprint. This will be my first time fighting this event and noticed that the boss is quite unusual because:

    a. it does not have a rage bar
    b. when not OD, it doesn't attack but gives all sorts of abnormal status, including very dangerous and annoying ones like zombie and petrified

I normally run my light team for UE regardless of elements, since it is by far my strongest team, but wondering if that will work with this boss. In particular, I need to know the following:

    1. With grail buffs at 100 affliction resistance, will that guarantee or close to guarantee that none of the afflictions from the water boss will land?
    2. If not, will 100 grails plus using all thunder himes be sufficient to more or less guarantee no afflictions land?
    3. Do the enemy DoT have a cap? 'cos if it has a low cap, say max 1k damage, I could also just max hp grails instead and go pure offense with hime line up and kill the boss before the DoT kills my team (though petrified will still be a problem if it lands)

My thunder team is a complete mess, so if I need one to be viable in the UE, I need to start slvl-ing my thunder grid and LB my thunder himes now.

Even Thunder team + 100 Resistance + Kirin buff will be getting debuffs. Still, you might want the resistance since it DOES help. As for the debuffs, I don't remember did they cap or not.

Overall Sloth is not a tough boss, though. Mostly since Phantom Elemental Lord Thor will Paralyze the shit out of her. So if you have Thor, just forget about Resistance and just go Affliction. Even without Thor, the real damage she deals is like, once every six turns. There's lots of damage cuts with 6t CD, so you can just AAB with a couple of those and only the DoTs will deal damage to you.

Can I ask that how powerful was the Olympia Guardian Angel eidolon effect?
I saw quite a lot of them use them(probably some whale) in DMM

They are the strongest free summon a vet can get in game, but not without requirement.

Their effect offers neither character or element attack of their own, but rather, it boosts all Weapon Skills of the matching prefix(Prominence/Inferno/Burning/Fire for example) on your grid by X% (40% at MLB). Obviously, the prefix thing is excludes those unique ones from Null weapons and Hero weapons. Anyway, what that means is, the stronger your grid is, the stronger they become.

For example, if you have an average simple grid of 150% assault 50% defender and nothing else on your Thunder grid, then Phul is as good as a 60% Character Attack 20% defender summon... which is already gacha tier. Now imagine if your grid looks like this: 180% Assault 80% Defender 100% Ascension 80% Exceed Burst Dmg 60% Exceed Burst Cap, your Guardian summon will become 72% Character Attack 32% Defender 40% Ascension 32% Burst Dmg 24% Cap. That's some serious boost there.

    How about their weapon?
Should we prioritize getting eidolon first or those looking good weapon?

And does that mean it's better not to build phantom grid weapon if we use Olympia angel?

Is double 100%+ eidolon still the dominant strategy though? I was hoping they will rebalance in such a way that if you have a 100%+, your optimal support will be one of these olympia eidolons, so people have some incentive to befriend people without 100%+. That doesn't seem to be the case unless some insane weapons are coming out, too.
