is going for andromeda with sol worth it? or is it better to get more of an offensive soul?

If it was me, I personally wouldn't since Sol is a extremely good healer already and you can use Nike if you need an extra healer. Most players probably won't have another healer other than Nike this early, so Andromeda might have been a good choice for those who don't and wanted another.

Maybe when we get more difficult content but nothing is hard enough to warrant 2 strong healers right now as I can clear Expert SP maps, which seem to be the most difficult, with just Nike as my healer who isn't even 50 yet (albeit she does die occasionally) and I don't have a single SSR Kamihime.

I feel by the time anything difficult comes out, assuming you play on a normal basis, you should probably have enough Soul P to get her if you really want to. You should be able to unlock 2 Legendary Soul's at Lv47 assuming you didn't waste any points.

Regardless, this is just all my speculations, the final decision is up to you.

I don't know about the SSR Kami healers, but Cassiopeia who's the elite healer heals about 50% more than Nike, and her heal cools down a turn faster.

Nike's heal drops to 5 turns when she's Lv65. Though it still only heals 750. Sol's heal is definitely a lot slower, from 1200 HP at 7 turns to 1500 HP at 6 turns at Lv 55, while removing a status ailment/debuff. According to JP wiki, Cassiopeia's heal caps at 1200 and Andromeda 1600, both at 5 turns.

In terms of pure healing, Cassiopeia and Andromeda have much better heal per turn rate (up til turn 21 for Cassiopeia vs Sol, which isn't very common from what I've seen yet, unless you solo a raid boss or something), though unlike Sol, neither provide damage support aside from regular attack unless willing to spend on cross skill. Neither Cass or Andro have status ailment removing skill so taking the skill from Vivian may be ideal for certain fights but giving up your extra slot for other potential skills. You can probably out heal poison but dealing with something like charm is annoying, especially if you're trying to get off 5 bursts chain.

So I'm sure she becomes desirable in future content for free players but as I mentioned before, Andromeda's degree of healing isn't needed to clear any of the current content, it'll make it easier though, that's for sure.

I can only guess you mean for the darkness boss, since I rarely see charm elsewhere. In that case you just need the Amon you get from story in your party for it. Since you know exactly when the boss will charm you, on that turn you use Amon's buff.

Unless of course you're suggesting you already have a full holy party. :P

The biggest problems are the raids. I get error'd out a lot, which is frustrating. Not sure how other players are handling this. This game is a total GBF knockoff, replacing jobs with "souls", but pretty much everything from stickers, to level up messages, are the same in GBF. Even the way main and support party members are handled, ougi, summons (eidolons), etc.

If you are a GBF veteran, then transitioning to this game should be easy, and it also has the same pitfalls as the original.

Yea, that boss seems to be the only current one with charm, I'm a bit too lazy to constantly change units just for a single fight. My 2 sub slots usually have units I'm leveling or back up attacker for the current SP quest as I usually lose a couple units on Expert (today being water and Amon being fire is a no go).

    Game seems really buggy atm.

    Did sp standard twice.

First time it froze going to the 3rd battle and i had to refresh. Could resume the battle ok though.

Second time it goes to the 3rd battle and there's no enemy to fight. At first it was looping to try and restart 3rd battle, but then it just ended the battle.
