Because Berserk greatly boosts damage and has few demerits when timed correctly. Her other abilities synergize with this and result in excellent normal attack damage for the entire team during the Burst generation phase of a fight. Moreover, the defense debuff can be cleansed with recovery skills or canceled with a defense buff.
