At least you can simply enhance whatever weapon/eidolon with it, giving more stats.

Has anyone looked far enough ahead to see if we are getting a Legendary soul that can ever use these SSR bows? If so, what souls should i build up to it, in preparation?

The Yukimura/Masamune/Shingen line also uses bows, but that seems to have been introduced about 8 months after launch or so. Longer for Shingen.

You'll need Rosenkreutz for Hercules and Gilgamesh for Shingen.

We are. I can't remember for sure when. Something like the 5th event or 5th month, I'm gonna have to do some searching to find that source again.

As for what souls to prepare, no idea, unfortunately.

I can only tell their elements when going into quest

was trying to find a soul w/ Lightning element

It's not Oliver (wind), Gwain (fire), Lancelot (?), Beowulf (fire), Helsing (wind), Merlock (wind)

Soul's element is the same as the big main weapon on the weapon grid.
