Been saving up since christmas, spent 12k jewels, 24 premium tickets, and 2 SR tickets and got...

SSR: Ea

SR: Astrea, Oberon(duplicate)

R: Konohana-Sakuya, Taikoubou, Vulcan, Naberius, Apep, Daphne

As a fire main looking for Mars and/or Uriel to complete my team of Awakened Svarog, Acala, Amaterasu, and Summer Sol I'm a bit... nonplussed. Oh well, at least I got my first water SSR.

Decided to spend 9k magic jewel, I got

SSR: Mars, Cthulhu (got them in a single roll!)
SR: Raguel, Hephaestus
R: Vulthoom, Vulcan, Neith

It's so odd to get such a good haul, I used to be really unlucky with magic jewel gachas! And now that I have Cthulhu, I now have 4 water SSRs!

Mars and Hephaestus are a godsend for Fire, even more now that we have an overpowered R Fire B Frame Debuffer (-20% Sakuya), still you want to invest on your water grid more at this point haha.

Mars is core sure, but as we don't know what other Water SSRs he has. If he has SSR Nike, Water Raphael and... well, any, really, then his choice isn't necessarily a bad one.

So, I decided to randomly use one of my Premium Tickets today, and I got this:

So... does this count as MISFORTUNE? I know I'm due for some bad luck but my god.... TWO horrible gacha fails in a row...

funny, i got her a while back and was told she's not all that great in the long run...

but by all means, use her if you don't have many SSR... I know I will cause my water team's damage sucks....

You probably will look for something like Ashirat or Cthulhu for them extra damage... The main gripe people get with Saraswati is that she only buffs 2 out of the 5 in team (herself and one ally), which definitely means pretty darn situational usage (not to mention you can't auto with her) amongst other choices.

Anyway. Expecting a listed SSR Hime with just 45 pulls is... unrealistic. You had a 49,4% chance to pull a SSR Hime to begin with - so you weren't even at coinflip level, though close. And assuming it happened, the chances of it being a boosted one is fairly low.

However, if we're also counting SSR Eidolons, then your chances to pull ANY SSRs was 74,6%. So, yes, clearly on that aspect you were unlucky. But hey, random is going to random.
