Thread: [Event 16] Garuda & Typhon Rematch Event

gave Ultimate a try on Garuda only since Typhoon scares me :P and my water team is lacking a good healer, (bad Nike)



I was really surprised - I actually did Ultimate -

guess I shouldn't do auto. Been thinking if I can't do it on auto, manual wouldn't be better

Ultimate gives much better rewards than Standard and Expert. You should use this opportunity to strengthen your weapons and eidolons with the plentiful SR enhancement drops so you're strong enough to do other Ultimates. Your team looks like it's lacking debuffs. You could fix that by running Gawain w/ Sniper Shot as your EX skill. That'll greatly improve your damage. You should run Brynhildr as healer (you have her, right?). Keep your healer in the rear row so she doesn't die.

I feel like i'm the only one who doesn't have Brynhildr... ever since I learned she existed I've been trying to get her. I've gotten 14 other SR kamihimes and some of them multiple times (FOUR times for Belobog lol), but for the life of me I can't get Brynhildr...

...and I run fire FML. I would love to have her, though I have Sol filling in.

as we can't exchange the material for unlimited amount of half elixers like previous events i decided to stop using my half elixers yesterday.
all is left is to get 2 gold books from garuda and 4 from typhon, maybe i can get them all by the end of the event with my AP alone

*sigh* because of an electrical problem at my area, now I'm behind schedule... I'll probably MLB Garuda 1st then try to MLB Typhon afterwards... Thought I can do both before that happens...

man i was real close to havin enough materials for my last MLB garuda wep. and it drops on the 2nd to last run... welp there goes all my luck in this game for a month.

on another note, i don't seem to have many problems with garuda rag, but that typhoon... never used her debuff removal thing(wish i was using modred if she was gonna be like that), but would sometimes focus certain himes. funnily enough beat her when i was using seig, but got my butt handed to me when i was using andromeda. n yea u want typhoon outta rage asap. welp, gonna start on the typhoon stuff. gl every1

Not really, in the current state of the game, debuffs are better than buffs for longevity, the Burst Streak might be good for now but you should wait for Apocalypse or Crom Cruach if you're maining fire, plus get buff only lasts 1 turn if I'm not mistaken
At that point even SR's like Yata No Kagami [DEF Down 180 seconds] or even the Exchangeable SR Salamander [Scorched for 180] are better. This is why Yatagarasu was a must get. Her attack down was actually useful

Curious, can Garuda (or any SSR event drop for that matter) only drop in Ultimate & Ragnarok? Sadly I can only do Expert since I don't have the debuffs and damage to survive Ultimate Garuda yet. SR weapons are dropping but no sign of SSR.

Typhon's active skill ATK buff buffs your Burst by about 4%, and overall damage by about 2%. It's a useful buff, but sadly doesn't get much use in Ragnarok because generally your Burst will be ready before the CD is up.
