The cores are for draconic eyes shards. You need 3 completed eyes for awakening a hime according to the JP wiki.

And Nike is permanent. You can tell because she doesn't have her own page saying limited time like the summer girls.

Tried what? Awakening? It hasn't even been implemented yet in the Nutaku version.

Back to running on expert

I had done ultimate for Garuda (trying to pick up the pace and get more drops) but I won 4/8 matches w/0 jewel

Not gonna waste anymore jewels, need 800 jewels for 3K pull

needed jewels for SSR Nike if I get lucky which I prolly won't since my tickets (after 15th or so) have been weapons

Darn dude, just give up on expert, if you wait for the 30 AP you'll get thrice or 4 times the expert gold chest in Ultimate, even if you struggle there is better

Just did a run vs Typhon where I had my fire team comp instead of my water one >_<. Thankfully only expert so I barely managed to survive, but instantly went welp..... this sucks.
