I think that's just because someone disagreed with his opinion.
But Svarog is the way to go, she's fast, has awesome ability DMG and buffs the team. Her CD's are one of the shortest in the game.
Uriel is super good, and she's obviously a good candidate, but Svarog is always the #1 first pick, then Uriel.

Yeah, Uriel is the contender. I'd personally recommend Uriel over Svarog, though.

Svarog deals amazing damage per turn, and buffs the team with 40% Assault. Later, she gets replaced by Haruhi for perfected groups.

Uriel deals 2m burst damage when you need it. Combined with Full Burst, that's 3m damage from a single Unit, even off-element, even for players who don't have their own Belial. That's no fucking joke. A lot of content in the game is entirely trivialized by something like this - that's something Svarog simply doesn't do. Uriel also doesn't get replaced by anyone later on - however, it should be noted that for omega space whales, they don't really need Uriel either, since they reach 2m bursts with all Hime anyway. For everyone else, Uriel is simply a superb unit.

...Svarog is more so preferred than Uriel after Haru and Frey come out.

It all depends on the player, tho... I don't have Svarog on DMM and I have Uriel. I wouldn't replace Uriel for Svarog until I get a higher grid because once you have a decent enough grid Uriel does nothing aside from be fast. Everyone can burst for 2M+ once you have a phantom grid... that works

Hmm... Probably Shingen. With her and Daji, you can have an almost constant DATA buff if you time it right.
