Thread: [Event 34] Crucible of Combat vs The Demon Greed (Union Event)

*sarcastic yay* oh boy, another union event for me to do nothing in because i'm a lazy piece of shit
but uhhh... this union event is probably the most important. not only we'll get a new element eidolon (Phantom element), we'll also get the rewards like the SSR weapon from the first Pride union event (light)
so uh... meh, spam ur seeds... or don't... i don't care...

well, as I said, it's Phantom element, like the ragnarok of Jack o' Lantern! So bring your strongest element team, as you'll be able to counter the enemy no matter what.
I hope your team has a healer tho, as she can counter back.

Battles -

Standard Lilim - 700K HP, 3 turn charge, normal charge - single atk (2k max?) raging charge - atk all allies (2k?)

Expert Lilim - 2.55K HP, 2 turn charge, normal charge - single atk (8k?) raging charge - atk all allies (3k)

Expert Demon - 250K HP + (75,000 x LV) 2 turn charge, normal overdrive "Random 7 Attributes Overall Attack" - raging overdrive (none)
Ultimate Demon - 500,000 + (150,000 x LV) normal overdrive "Random 7 Attributes Overall Attack" - raging overdrive (none)
(RAGE GAUGE DOES NOT EXIST) (so no stun mode, no stun abilities work e.g. Tyr/Oceanus/Siegfried/Amon U/Nyarla/Belphagor abilities are all useless)

Recommended teams -

Of course, the strongest team you have, hopefully you (or your union) have a strong water team consisting of uh... well, Ctulhu, W.Raphael, Ryu-Oh, Nike, etc for the full DEF-debuff cap (50%),
Fire is a huge recommended team, as we have Belial (if your fire team is strong enough, and you see her in the support well... uh you're lucky.)
Kirin... yeah, we have her but... thunder doesn't really have a healer, and the strongest thunder kami (so far) is Tyr, who will be useless against the Demon.
Wind? pure offense teams can be nice (like mine)

Best to decide among your union which team the majority of you will be using (mine will most likely be using fire, as we have quite a few Belial support, and 3-4+ have over 100% fire assault grids.) so we will be using the fire guardian.

Tyr won't be useless. Yes, ONE of her skills won't do anything against her. But she still has an invaluable debuff for Thunder teams until Mammon era.
Heck, even I can't run Thunder in this event... just not enough debuffs.
Also, Sol is Thunder's healer. So it's not like they don't have any!


Not sure if I'm running Fire for -50% Def thanks to Wrath bow, or Water for double healers. It will depend on just how much Greed hurts, and I assume it to be A LOT.

Forgot the weapon were light for this event. That seems to be the only good thing from this event for me.

Not sure if i should use my fire team for pure damage or wind team 'cause gaia may be able to withstand her overdrive attack with 0 damage.

So the Water Kamis are just part of the magic jewel gacha right? They have nothing to do with the event, i.e. you can't farm them there?

I haven't had much time to play today, so I could be wrong, but things I've noted:
1. Ulti drops seem nerfed again, they were quite impressive last event, although not as impressive as Pride. Now they're decent, but considering the ease and cheapness of Expert it feels bad.
2. Expert Lilim now drops 4-5 Grails, probably around 4.2 Grail on average. This makes it questionable is Expert worth your time again... it certainly is more Grails per AP than Standard; 0.13 compared to 0.16. Though I haven't checked does Standard still drop 2 average. Also, I haven't been writing down the Expert drops, but I'm getting that fifth Grail very rarely.

Yup. Every event brings us one SSR and one SR, often one R too. They always go into the Jewel/IRL money gacha.

I might try recording my drops if I'm not feeling too lazy later.

Anyways, is the eidolon not suppose to give us any jewels for both her intro and harem scenes? Cause I didn't get any.

i'm running my fire and tbh this feels easier than last Union event on ULT.

i would of assumed it would, the last one did (first lilim i've got as i solo these events like the anti-social git i am :P)
