Does snatch stacking do anything in particular for the drop rates in advents and raids?

I collected some data on this a while ago. Snatch does appear to slightly increase the number of chests that drop. For example, I observed a 10-15% increase in bronze chest drops in Ultimate difficulty for an early Advent event with ~5 stacks of Snatch. In general, I'd only recommend it for full-auto setups that can clear >90% of the time. Applying the stacks is just a waste of time otherwise. Even better, use a team equipped with a full loadout of R accessories with the drop rate up trait. That should give an equivalent effect.

It most likely will be.

You can enjoy the half-cost Disaster for the next week. SR fodders everywhere.
Or farm the cheaper AP cost re-run editions of Ixion and Yata and prepare for their ACTUAL re-run, by stocking the fuck up of mats for now.
Or farm Vine.
Running low on Runes for Accessory quests? Farm those daily dungeons now.
Or maybe just take a rest of Kamihime if you feel like it.

By no means is your week entirely wasted. There's plenty to farm if you feel like it, and nothing much to lose if you don't feel like it.

As someone who's first event was Jack Frost, this is gonna be one hell of a week. Yata and fire weapon are must get, then not sure if i should prioritize Ixion or the Thunder weapon. Really don't plan on ever playing thunder, but with gacha, you never know. Ixion would mostly be 5 copies for the eidolon shop. The 163 halfelexirs i currently have should get me reasonably far though.

For Ixion, the weapon will be more useful than the eidolon in the long run. Ixion's not a great eidolon; neither her stats nor her passive are attractive. Her summon effect is ok for a thunder team, but the thunder lilim from Gluttony does the same thing. And we're not far away from a Gluttony reprint if you didn't pick her up the first time around.

Hope they at least add a Ragnarok disaster DMM got during this event. Other wise it's just log in, do dailies, rag and log off.

well, a huge improvement was made on both my water and wind teams since the last ixion/yata rematch...

and since the first one too, my team was
Mordred
Triton
Oceanus
Aphrodite
Gabriel
(41% assault, and still managed to beat Ragnarok in less than 7 mins)

now, my team is
Arthur
Parvati
Aphrodite
Ryu-Oh
Nike Unleashed
(and assault % is about 100% or so) will be nice to compare in the video..

last time, Ixion took me about 10 minutes, but my grid was 60% or less? now it's 100% ..

not that it matters.. will be able to auto ability Yata, and hopefully Ixion won't take too long.
won't worry too much about using elixers on the ultimates as no restock, but tickets can be nice, and hopefully SSR drops in shiny chests.
