Thread: [Event 36] Advent Battle vs Yatagarasu and Ixion (Rematch)

well, this was unexpected.. ya since we already had this rematch, i'm just gonna copy and paste the info from the last thread

(Ultimate) Ixion is harder than Yata, but I guess that depends on the players team. Her normal overdrive deals large damage to single ally.. so again, lowering her ATK is necessary, while raging overdrive deals overall large damage, while lowering burst gauge by 30%... so you better get her stunned fast otherwise you're screwed... Using Mordred for BP (Black Propaganda) or Arc w/ BP as EX ability is mandatory, as she'll use her raging overdrive every two turns otherwise.
Her "special attack" deals DMG to 2 random allies.

Ixion's Ragnarok battle is pretty much the same, but much harder, normal overdrive deals large(r) damage to single ally, raging overdrive deals the overall damage but decreases burst gauge by 75% so if you're saving to do a full burst until she's stunned or something... you have no chance. Use separate bursts if you're forced to, don't try to risk it just for more damage.
Overall she has 3.15M HP
350K damage to make her raging
600K damage to make her stunned from raging
250K damage to put her back in normal mode

As this is another rematch we should've had much later, don't be salty if you can't win against her in Ragnarok mode! They only added this event to keep the schedule so Halloween event will be on time.
Ixion's SSR weapon is Assault, so if you don't have it already, or don't have it at MLB, try to do so... same with the SR assault (SR hammer is assault with max of around 1.7K ATK)
Ixion's summon ability is similar to Lilim/Pulse Kaiser, but just a weaker version, increasing thunder elemental ATK can be nice for burst attack.

Moving onto Yatagarasu,
In my opinion this is by far the easiest Advent we've had yet, and the first advent a lot of us could finally beat Ragnarok in... Though we fought her not too long ago, we still had time to improve our water grids even more, so this one should be kind of easy compared to Ixion.
In both Ultimate and Ragnarok, she gives herself a DEF buff after her raging overdrive, and it's a very high one, so if you're not too impatient it's best to wait out the 240 seconds it lasts, but if you're recording a video for example, use Chaos Magic (or just pause and resume like I did) so you have more chance to use other EX ability.

Normal overdrive deals damage to all allies, also applying debuff that does not let you heal HP, so unless you have Aphrodite/Sol/Nodens to cure it, you won't be able to regenerate health.
Mordred is again recommended with BP, as Yata as well as Ixion has just 2 charge meter.
Unless you have Ryu-Oh or Cthulhu that is...
Yata Ragnarok has lower HP than the others, only 2.5M so a pretty fast battle depending on your team/grid...

and again, Yata has assault weapon (God Flame Gun) and 2 SR assault with fairly high max ATK (1.6-1.8K)
Yata's summon ability is ATK down for enemy, same as Jorm...

Yeah, that's so not happening. I'd love it if it was true, but that's so not happening.

We're going to get what DMM got in this event (which we already had). I just hope we'll have Dragon Eye Shards in the shop.

Well, at least this way we avoid the question of 'so...what about the set of kamihime that were released with this reprint'

I'm super salty that they skipped Garuda/Typhon but are doing this again, lol.

they didn't skip it, they did it months ago way ahead of shedule, august 2nd, just before i started playing.

oo shards would be nice as i beat all but one of the ragnaroks during Kyuki event (wasn't even my first or second run, tried to be clever 3rd time around).
and i get to max out yata and the SR glaive for my fire team yay, only bummer is i sacrificed the SR axe recently as i didn't think i'd get to MLB it any time soon, but not too bad as i have 4 axes in grid atm anyway.

edit: will be interesting to see how my fire team deals with same element ult/rag.

That's so ridicolous, that I can actually imagine happening knowing nutaku KP version.
