Yes, Intercept has a pretty hefty bonus damage.

Since I don't have Freya, it's a pain in the ass to test. But I remember that many months ago, I think I did 4x damage... back then, the Berserk Souls didn't exist either I believe. Testing would be a lot easier now. But that's the only logical point in that damage formula for Intercept bonus, so it shouldn't...?
