Thread: Newby: Which Soul to pick?

Hey guys, I have a questionfor the water experts here:

I rolled and account with Ryu-Oh, Aphrodite and Gaia,
Gaia covers Defense and Ryo-Oh has two Class A Debuffs and Rage Gauge extend,
Aphodite heals recovers and buffs attack frequency
So now my question: which Legendary Soul should I aim for?

If I go for d'Art I'll have access to sniper shot and will be set in the debuff department but I feel like my team lacks attack more than anything else, but Arthur just seems bad in comparison to almost every other Soul, any suggestions?

Damage setup for water as far as I can tell right now requires Arthur Provisional Forest EX, plus probably Ashirat which won't come out until April. Provisional Forest means Shingen, which you probably don't have.

I'd argue that D'Art is your best choice for the moment, while your worries can be covered by either a full grid of maxed skill assaults (I assume you don't?) and D'Art's def break. If you haven't already, grab Vine too.

The usual answer to "Which soul?" is this:
Gawain, Cass, Mordred, Dartagnan/Joan. Probably in that order. Then whatever.

However, in your case, Ryu-Oh means that you should bump up Dartagnan to the top.
