joan + gaia users might take that route actually cause joan can damage cut, gaia can redirect and invalidate damage, and then gaia can cut it again. by then, you should either have burst ready or joan's damage cut might have gotten off cooldown.

is the boss dmg based on debuff applied to YOU OR debuffs applied to her OR buff applied to you OR buff applied to her? its confusing.

according to the JP wiki, it definitely factors in how many debuffs you've tossed on her. that's why mordred is a BIG no in this fight... not sure about it factoring in the buffs she has though.... but this is only for her raging burst


so if you have to debuff (and you still should unless you're doing really insane damage), bring the strongest atk and def ones you got and nothing more... maybe the one to add a charge if you feel confident about the situation. you still want to lower the damage you take from everything else while increasing the damage you do

but your best friend for this fight is easily how many buffs you can toss on yourself... that and damage cuts...

in fact, i won't use beelzebub for that reason cause it's definitely stupid to use her double atk buff (cause it lowers your defense). atk up and rampaging might help, but i feel like bastet would get more worth in a team with SSR amon, susanoo, and nepthys (cause that really is the best i got atm). this is due to the 3 of them having some powerful nukes when used right which can help blow through raging mode (could add sieg to that for stun bursting and more raging drain, but it'd cost me an atk down, damage cut, and slight healing from joan)

The more debuffs the boss has, the stronger her raging ougi is.

Yep.

The best bet would be to only apply 20% debuffs everyone once in a while and hang on with damage cut and heals.

That's the only way to cheese this event.

Either that or burst right through her rage phase.

Only watched part of the ragnarok vid, but did that first raging overdrive do ~1880 damage with 2 debuffs on after:
Gaia's damage cut + kaiser dragoon summon + 1x Amphisbaena passive = ~80% cut
And the 75% multiplier dark Amaterasu has for elemental advantage
And... I think the -10% atk debuff from Yatagarasu summon is the one that was still on?

yeah, it's that deadly on ragnarok with just 2 debuffs...

nothing will save you if a flurry of mordred debuffs are on her...
