    0_download_json.py no longer work to download ssr kamihime and eidolon for the latest dmm. It just me?

    Is there a way for anyone to upload and updated version of the player or help provide a tutorial for uploading the player. I'm the opposite of tech savvy and have no clue how to update it.

    After hopping between posts to update my own player, I have found this simple method that seems to be working for me (it is still running, I will edit based on the result later):

    (Nutaku)
    1. To start, the base version found in post #1 will work. Download and Extract (don't run anything yet)
    2. Refer to post #589 (page 59) and download the attached [nutaku_012345_2023_09_18.zip] file. Extract contents to your [Kamihime_Player-1.0-pc/game/nutaku] folder. The system will ask to replace the files. Select yes for all.
    3. Now follow the procedure in post #1 as normal, but the script names have been changed for some reason (0_download_assets.cmd has become 0_download json.cmd, however the operation order remains the same: run through the 0_ to 5_ scripts)
    3*. The 1_ script (1_download_assets.cmd) will probably take some time. That means it is working.

    I am currently still running the 1_ script, but I assume the rest will resolve without issue. It may be necessary to download the attached [2_build_rpy (Nutaku).zip] file from post #661 (page 67) and extract similarly to step 2, in the following steps. Again, I will edit later.

    --Other notes:
    I did not run [00_convert_script.cmd] before following post #1.
    I closed my KHP game after submitting my x-kh-session (the script continued running).

    After running the script for about a day (it is still running), I went ahead and ran the other scripts. The updated player works, but of course all newly downloaded scenes are censored.

    --Other notes:
    I did not reopen KHP, in fear that a new request / token from my account may raise a flag in the servers (I don't know how it works).
    I did a test with both the original 2_ script and the one from #661: no difference noticed.

    Can somebody update player, it works but not downloading kamihime from 2024, i've searched on wiki and the last kamihime was from 2023, i've tried bunch of x-kh sessions, and it didn't help. The last Kamihime, was (Dainty Buds) Metis. I'm talking about nutaku one, don't use dmm one.

    You can get the new characters by doing what the post #521 and #524 says, it works for the Nutaku version too.

    I've attached a version of the script from post #612 which should get the raw_scenario JSON files of the next year of characters that can't be downloaded with 0_download_json. Double click the CMD file, input the 'x-kh-session' value, put the JSONs in a folder named after the character ('Lancelot [Sweet Street Corner]' in this case), put the folder in a 'Kamihime_Player-1.0-pc/game/nutaku/raw_scenario' subfolder ('soul' makes sense for Lancelot), then run 1_download_assets, 2_build_rpy, and 3_write_config as usual. The future characters in the PY file are commented out, remove the '#' symbols when the characters become available. The file names are from the DMM version, but the Lancelot JSONs downloaded successfully for me. The portraits and thumbnails can be downloaded from the Japanese wiki pages about Skins and Heavenly Awakening. For manually downloading portraits ('Kamihime_Player-1.0-pc/game/nutaku/portrait_full' folder) and thumbnails ('Kamihime_Player-1.0-pc/game/nutaku/portrait' folder), the file extension needs to be PNG. The PNG filenames should match the raw_scenario JSON folder's name except that any brackets in the character's name need to be changed to parentheses ('Lancelot (Sweet Street Corner)' in this case).

    Edit 1: I made a mistake regarding the memorial scene JSON downloading code and used the renamed file '1001_harem-memorial.json' instead of the original '1_harem-memorial.json'. I had forgotten that post #718 said that it has to be renamed to prevent the memorial scene from being overwritten by the scene of the first file (naming wise) in the chosen raw_scenario subfolder. I've updated the DLpy scripts to address this issue and to add the code for Romulus [Scarlet Fever] and [Memorial0002] Hypnos. I'll also include the DMM JSONs for these 2 characters and the Nutaku JSONs for Lancelot [Sweet Street Corner]. The previous DMM JSONs are on post #712.

    Edit 2: Updated to include portraits and thumbnails. The method for extracting files from archives disguised as images or GIF files is in post #674.

    Edit 3: The term 'Divine Enlightenment' is an English machine translation of the Japanese term '神想真化'. The Nutaku translation is 'Heavenly Awakening'.
