The problem might be a name in config.ini is spelled differently from the raw_scenario JSON. Either download my config.ini and compare it to yours or upload your config.ini so I can compare it to mine. Replacing your file with mine might work, make sure to backup your config.ini if you try it. Someone had an 3_write_config.py issue, although the error is different from yours, with on post #459.

Edit 1: Updated to include both DLpy scripts, the troubleshooting guide (mentions the newest DLpy script location), attached the DMM files for Van Helsing [Night Meeting], Thanatos [Heavenly Awakening], and [Memorial0032] Styx. The previous DMM files are on post #873. For instructions on extracting files from image or GIF archives, read post #674. For an explanation on using the DLpy script and installing the downloaded JSONs check post #762.

Hi, Newbie here
I ran 000_Zest_TryDL.py, omitted the unreleased characters and kept the released ones under raw_scenario as instructed. Got no errors but when I run the player the scenes are empty? Any way around this?

Heavenly Awakenings, skins, and the paid memorials have 1 intro scene and 1 h-scene. The free memorials only have an h-scene. The player menu is designed for a minimum of 3 scenes so it doesn't display 2 or fewer scenes in a clean manner. You'll want to test each scene by viewing it from start to end, the menu display alone doesn't indicate something is wrong.

I use mklink let RenPy player and KPBeta use same folder (assets, portrait_full) and try the KPBeta player.
It loading in high speed and use pages to seperate characters like game's UI, Thank you for sharing this great work!

Does anyone know how to download burst skin cgs? I tried using the modified 1_download_assets.py on post #831 but I got this error message when it tried downloading the burst skin cg.

Try other method I use :

Unzip .json and modifited _script.json I post on #885

Run 1_download_assets.py (not modified one on post #831 ) to download voice lines without burst cg

Drag and drop .json one by one on this .bat to download cg files ,and put them to the folder they belong.
