The last update for the post #1 player was in April 2021, for the post #953 player it's October 2023. There are 2.5 years of additional content that some people don't want to or can't download with the scripts, so it'll be more convenient for them. People that keep their Nutaku player updated to October 2023 or later have no use for the post #953 version.
