Erm, can someone guide me through downloading the Episode viewer? Mainly the English version, please...I am not verse in Japanese or technology, so trying to figure it out on my own is a nightmare...

Um if you mean the viewer at the first page, then Berwayer has a txt file with instruction how to set it up. You would be looking for Nutaku version. And i gotta warn you that you wil need Nutaku account for this.

The error usually means the downloader expected a dictionary but received a list somewhere in the JSON data.

Could you let me know:

• DMM or Nutaku?
• Does it happen during Download JSON or Download Assets?
• The full traceback/error log from the console?

With the full error log I should be able to track down the exact cause.

not that guy but i had this problem myself. it seems that possibly somewhere during json downloading process, duplicate files with a (1) denoting them are generated, throwing off the downloader as there are no references to it on the index file. sorry i can't attach the logs, they ballooned to 148mb in size and i have isp issues preventing me from properly uploading them

Since the old Ren'Py player can't handle V2 (Spine) scenes, I've been
rewriting it as a Tauri 2 + Rust + React app that plays both V1 and V2
offline. DMM only — no assets bundled, you supply your own
session token. Still a work in progress, but the

Updated Kamihime Player Beta.

The `assets` folder now includes the KSD animation files up through Procyon and Altair. The scenarios, portraits, and index have also been updated as usual.

I also updated KP Downloader to address the following:

* Added a feature to convert OGG files into a playable format. If you already downloaded OGG files that won't play, I recommend deleting them and downloading them again.
* Fixed a bug that prevented some Harem 2.0 scenes from playing.
* Reduced the amount of excessive logging.
* Added automatic KSD downloading, as well as automatic `index.csv` entries, with a few exceptions.
* I think this should basically cover all of the Downloader's functionality now.

If you run into any problems, let me know in the comments.

Next, I'm going to start working on the Nutaku version of the Downloader.
