I just find the setup with a SR less forgiving of failure than my current setup, since my kamihimes could eat the raging AC4 overdrive 2 hits in a row (3 hits in a row if I applied all the buffs and debuffs) and still have enough HP to survive being double hit afterwards. The same thing applies to the higher level ultimate battles where usually bad rage management gets me killed with the SR but the defender SSR give me enough room to recover, maybe if I were a better player or didn't auto battle the SR might be better but from my experience I usually survive failure or unexpected events better with my current build.

Good to know that I can expect to improve my grid within next 5 months though.
i did always say that all that attack power isn't good if you can't withstand the damage you take... (my fire team is still likely to die given my only non-soul heals are bryhildr, RNG drain from dakki, and sakuya's pathetic 500 HP heals.... and they're packing about 6k base HP while my other teams all have 8k-11k)

fire might be able to get away with that (they get the most out of an assault heavy setup), but the other elements either cut it too close or can't pull it off... especially for those lacking the "key SSR"

gonna need a decent mix of atk and HP until you can start getting dual weapons that give both (or just good dual stuff period like the light staff from the lilim event). given the nature of this game and how random it is throwing stuff at you, the best setup is to "do what works best for you" since you easily might not have what others do
