Thread: support Eidolon list - how does it work?

Can anyone explain how the people listed for support eidolons works? I've been monitoring it for a while and I can't find a rhyme or reason for how the background coding works. There have been times where I can select the same friend 2-3 times in a row, while other times there's a friend who I want to wait to use then after 1 fight it's randomly gone. How does the game generate who you can choose to pick as a support Eidolon?

It's just a matter of who are the six latest people who had activity in their account. However, people you have used will not show up for the next... two hours?

I'm pretty positive that's not right as I've seen the same person 2 fights in a row. Might have just been a different person with the same Eidolon, but Belial is not exactly common and I only have 1 person I think on my friends list with her so.....

I'm not positive but I would assume it's because of latency/lag. You might have new friends that just logged on that should technically be on the top of your friend support list but maybe the game is being so slow at updating, it hasn't updated a new support list and still lists previous friends.

That's just my guess. I've used the same friend twice in a row on several occasions as well.

That would actually make a lot of sense as to why I couldn't make sense of it at all. Didn't even think of that.....

There's a bug where sometimes, the first friend you use doesn't count as being used.
