And why would reroll acounts download the app ? Doesn't make sense to me (unless it was out of spite, to make people including themselves get less jewels).

i do agree with him on that.
for my own experience on that "downloading" - i installed one on phone and one on Nox (aka emulator), - and only phone one acc got da jewels
