Thread: Is there a story behind the 'Prison disasters'?

One of the main reasons I started playing Kamihime was actually the story. I thought it was quite good, though maybe a bit shallow, but having some kind of disaster and then you and our friend find this magical device which allows you access to other mystical realms? I love it!

Unfortunately I also think this is going to be Kamihime's undoing eventually because all they're adding is filler. There's nothing substantial, nothing to add up to the actual story, only "DLC" (events) which sometimes aren't even consistent with the main story. And to add insult to injury (my own perception): now they're even adding storylines which are totally unrelated but only happen to play out in the same universe (Sakura event battle). I grabbed the jewels but skipped the whole thing because I couldn't care less.

Anyway... Not trying to whine here but share a bit of cynicism regarding my question at hand, because I think I already know the answer but would love it if someone can prove me wrong:

Is there a story (official story) behind the prison disaster eidolons?

Because I think those are really intriguing if you stop to think about 'm. Take the prisoner of light: she's obviously cuffed yet is still smiling eventually. At first I thought that she smiled because you were about to defeat the eidolon when I realized that they all smile when you reach the enraged status. Making me wonder where the 'prisoner' aspect comes into play, seems to me as if they're quite happy with providing some help to destroy your party, bonds or not. And the library isn't much help either.

So I figured I could always ask here Thanks in advance for any comments.

I heard (I think?) that there's Japanese source material that goes into more detail on the setting. This likely won't be made available in English.

The story progression from here will be in Raid events. I think that's it. The purpose of the collaboration events is to advertise other DMM games, which typically aren't available on Nutaku.

I'm sure you've realized by now that these games are shovelware. New gameplay mechanics and content will continue to be introduced at a steady pace for those who like a challenge. Other than that? It's a F2P Gatcha porn game, and this is about as good as they get. They're very effective at parting people with their money and cheap to produce, which is why DMM continues to churn them out and why Nutaku continues to host them in English.

Did you notice how badly translated the Guild Order introduction was? That could be a taste of what upcoming story content will look like: barely understandable.

i think the 6 disaster raids are the ones that sealed diabolos away in her realm
after in those tidbits of info that we get from loading its says that she was sealed away by disastre now we know its spelled disaster so there you have it
thats the story behind them
another hint is those raids only became accesable after you finish realm number 1 where you get both diabolos and amon
so yeah thats my take on the story behind them

That's a mistranslation, Diabolos sealed the disaster eidolons and used all her magic in the process which is why she's an SR now. Not the other way around. After she goes to different regions with everyone else the seals weaken and she asks to defeat them, which is why the raids open after the first realm.

Not much is explained about them, certainly, but there's a part in the last realm of the main story where we get a bit more background about them. If my memory serves me right, it was when they met up with Satanachia. She left Diabolos' realm because they had to use seal from the inside & the outside of the realm as well to completely seal these disasters away. But that's about it, I don't think there's anymore information mentioned about them.

That's because DMM just stopped making the main story. It just ends after
