As long as you bring Ryu-Oh and Atalanta, anyone can work for you (with Sniper Shot). It is difficult to say how strong you are overall, so the answer is probably Shingen/Herc/Joan. Leftmost being for the strongest (perfect Water Glaive Grids with Shingen and Aphrodite are really strong) and the rightmost being for the weakest (Joan's damage cut can be invaluable to weaker players who struggle to survive Overdrives).

Thanks for the idea, but i wanna laze a bit (AABing) sometimes so going herc is pretty okay right?
I don't think Shingen would be fine by that

After farming Garuda for the past few days and finally unlocking D'art, I have just two options in front of me: Mordred or Hercules?

Currently sitting on 280SP and cleared the event shop of all the SP, so I will have to wait a while for the next event and even longer to get the soul that I don't choose, so I want to make the right decision.

So for starters, my light team has 41k total power and are, in the following order, Diana, Sati, Michael, and Vishnu. Andromeda with Sniper Shot is my soul (yes, I know, I should've picked someone else to start with). Hercules would jump me straight to an endgame soul and perhaps increase my damage significantly with her axe (saved up 30 regalia), but Mordred provides useful stalling with her BP. I can choose either Asmund or Achilles as T2 soul, so which path should I follow?

BP is something you absolutely should have in your arsenal, but it sounds like you might do just fine even without. Maybe. Looking at upcoming content, we have:
Raid Guild Union Raid Advent Union Raid Tower Advent Advent
Since you can probably do just fine in multiplayer content without BP (just leave killing the boss for others in worst case scenario), it does seem like you'll have plenty of time to pick up Mordred after Herc. Probably.

Since you have Michael though, Shingen would do you really good. Sadly, you can't really rush Shingen out, but just pointing that out.

Need help with what to pick for the primary and sub teams. I primarily want to do raids with wind with shingen. Dark is for all content and I can use shingen and hercules for dark.

Titania, Cybele, Aether and someone else (Cu or Azazel) would make the cut for a Wind Shingen team. That team would be perfect if you had wind posseidon.

If i want to unlock Herc next, which soul weapon should i get first?
Also i am running out of soul points, should i exchange soul point set from medal exchange?
