I believe they will. You have to think of the last 3 years as legitimizing the adult game industry from Japan to the rest of the world and the need for the crap games to die of and actually leave the games that are quality in the space. You'll always have games like Battle Arena come and die, but what we should be seeing is the games that innovatively find a way to balance the whales and long time players with the need to grow the player base being successful in the long run.
It's a lot harder to invent a new good game than it is to get an artist to draw up some new 'scenes'. There is a huge incentive for developers to do exactly what Kami Project are currently doing.
