    New DMM Feature: Labyrinth Journey - Demon Shrine of Wind

    DMM has begun a brand new event type, in the style of a dungeon crawler game play.
    It's a very straight forward event type, and takes a LOT more motivation and time than advents and raids, imo.


    Here's the UI of the "Encounter Battle" and the initial battle stages/floors/completion percentage and chest/pots

    Here's pretty much a brief summary from my own experience:
    You pick ONE eido support (I picked Cerberus) to enter the tower with, and you keep that support on ALL the battles, until you receive the current rewards. You can farm for hours on the event without receiving, as there are two buttons. One is to pause your progress, e.g. the higher the floor is, the easier it is to push forward, as a lot of the stages have some kind of "free pass" which give you the rewards without fighting the enemy. abilities, buffs, debuffs, burst gauges are reset at the end of battle, unlike HP, which doesn't regenerate unless you use the potions OR receive rewards, then join back and continue the event. (That's when you'd have to pick another support Eidolon.)

    Normal battles (up to 10 battles on each "floor"), random stages (up to 2 stages on each battle), random (very easy) enemies, (e.g. lilim, carbuncle, disaster eido, andromalius, storyline eidolons) that can be killed in 1-2 turn/s (easy for ALL ranks and a very fair event all around.)
    "Recovery items can also be kept after battle, but the appearance rate is lower than normal quests.
    The treasure box appears at the time of returning to the labyrinth, not at the end of the battle.
    Therefore, it is thought that snatch does not participate in the increase of treasure box."
    You need to consume the AP to enter the next level, but it will be easier to collect treasure boxes to the extent that you repeat laps.
    (iirc there are 139 levels of the labyrinth from what i've seen.)
    chests drop after the fight ends so snatch/drop rate up won't have any change on the actual drop rates


    You can claim your rewards whenever you want to, whether it being early in or close to the end by clicking the button.
    Once you do this you'll get the "Quest Finish" screen and you'll receive all the rewards/exp/RP from all of the battles you did at once.


    and finally, the rewards!
    there are up to 3779 rewards to claim through the entire event (majority being gems WOO)
    the numbers underneath the rewards represent the amount you have left to receive on the left, and the amount you can receive up to on the right.





    keep in mind this event is a very long process... even doing half of one drains me af shiiiet i hope this isn't as frequent as other events even if the rewards are fucking amazing (also all rewards will go to the CAN expire section rather than normal gifts.)

    Reading the DMM wiki comments on just soul-crushing the grind is in this event is funny. Chances are it'll be nerfed to hell and back in the next iteration, though.

    Or could just be a new type of event and people aren't pacing themselves well with it yet.

    some dude from twitter already completed the event within like what fucking 6 hours meanwhile i'm at 21% since i woke up and been farming all day aside from when i was at school tf

    The thing is: you want to finish this thing in one go, because enemies don't get harder and 'the further' you go the more drop. And once you begin run, you can't start another quests (unless you stop the run, which is not advisable, because of above), so it's pretty much few hours of farming this shit and ending event in one day preferably. At least you get about 1.5m gems from this, so you won't have to worry about gem quests for a while.

    DMM has had the Gem Gacha changes for years now, so the biggest Gem usage is Accessories over there. Gems are probably just trash.

    If you have the luxury of Solomon Key and some additional single target nuker, this one is managable in 5 - 7 hours.
    I did it in round about 7 today to get all rewards. The hardest part is, to endure the grind.
