    Exclamation Second Anniversary patch recap

Everyone, get hyped. The Second Anniversary patch is here - in full!

So, what does all that mumbo-jumbo actually mean? Quite a lot, so let's try to recap everything:
    Permanent changes:
    Soul changes:
    - "Energy Release" -system implemented. Access through the Soul page on Legendary Souls, a new button next to "Change Soul" button.
-- MP is gained through a level 20 Soul winning a fight (50k exp = 1 MP) or converting (100 SP or 100 HSP into 1 MP).
-- MP is spent on Legendary upgrades, 1 per upgrade. Maximum number of upgrades is 20 per Soul. As for rough tierlist on the abilities:

    MUST HAVE Tier:
Double: All three points on ALL SOULS. No exceptions. Maybe Arthur. Probably not.
Triple: All three points on ALL SOULS. No exceptions. Maybe Arthur. Probably not.

    Great tier:
Atk (+++): First skill point (6%).
Atk (++): First skill point (4%).
Burst up: 3 skill points, 20% burst damage and 5% damage cap per skill level (total 60% and 15% each, Shingen gets two). This is the only one that doesn't diminish with multiple levels.

    Good tier:
    Atk: Other skill points (2%).
Crit: First skill point 10% chance of dealing 10% more damage. Unreliable and only applies with elemental advantage, but decent.
Def (all): First skill point is more, but Def is always decent.
Heal: For Andromeda. Each skill point increases Heal cap by 80 (1600 -> 1680 -> 1760 etc). This is her job, after all.
Ability: For Solomon. 1 point is 60% more damage and 8% more cap, level 3 is 100% more damage and 12% more cap. Solomon has access to two. Please remember the Ability damage formula. Solomon's first skill will NOT triple in damage with 200% more Ability damage, but will go from 4.5-5x damage to 6.5-7x damage. These have a massive impact for Solomon's second skill, as this one goes from 100% to 300% per hit, actually tripling in damage.

    Meh tier:
Crit: Second and third skill points. 5% increase in chance per point, no increase in damage. This is rather weak, only pick if you like increasing your chances in gambling just a little more.
HP (all): You should have plenty from your weapon Grid. Don't bother.
Heal: For Dartagnan and Joan. I very much doubt it's worth the points.
Ability: For all except Solomon. NOTICE: There are times when this can be decent, if you're running a Soul with multiple damage dealing abilities (like Arthur with a damage dealing EX - especially Solomon Ring). Only pick if you know what you're doing!!

    Unknown tier:
Avoidance: 2% first point, 1% per point after. Is 2-4% chance to take no damage worth it? Probably not.
Affliction RST: Unless you're literally fighting Medusa, you don't care for this. It would be decent if it gave you proper %, but it doesn't, just 10% at level 3. Is 10% good? Probably not. It depends on the formula how Afflictions work, and we have no idea.
    Stealth: Effect unknown.
Taunt: Effect unknown. Maybe good for Hercules. Maybe a waste of points even for Hercules.

Feedback on this tierlist would be highly appreciated.

-- If you fuck up, you can "Remove" your upgrades, but this does not return spent MP.
-- Every Legendary Soul (such as Arthur) has two new EX abilities only usable by their own tree (such as Lancelot-Gawain-Arthur). These skills cost 15 MP to unlock. By far the most important one of these is Shingen's Encourage Inspiration, but there are other very powerful ones.

    - Tired at looking at Herc's sorry ass? You can now swap the graphics to other Souls in the same tree. There's a new button on the Soul page below the heart icon which lets you use another Soul's skillset on Souls in the same tree. Using Spartacus with Herc's skillset will enable Herc's Soul weapons to work. However, please note that even when using Herc's skillset, Spartacus and Achilles will not count for Hercules in GO missions. I think.

    Accessory changes:
    - 4th and 5th Accessory slots are now possible to unlock!
-- Unlock them requires 20+40 Magna Cravis (more on that below) for SSRs, plus some other minor fodder.
-- Hime with 4th and 5th Accessory slots are eligible for Set Bonuses. Having 3x of the same type will activate the Set Bonus. The only one you really know about is the Tiara Set Bonus which gives that Hime an absolutely insane +15% Double and +15% Triple. For those Hime who don't need it (read: SSR Cybele) the next best thing is the Necklace Set Bonus which is 35% Crit with 10% chance to activate. There are plenty of other Set Bonuses, but they generally pale in comparison to these two.

    Disaster raid changes:
    - Old "Ragnarok" raids are now "Ultimate." Please call them Ults now.
    - New extremely tough Ragnarok Disaster raids for Water and Fire (IGNORE FIRE ADDS ENTIRELY - they'll leave you alone if you leave them alone!!). These guys are serious, SERIOUS business and make Ults look like a complete joke.
-- Reward for Ragnarok Disasters are:
--- Tiny chance of Phantom element weapons. These are serious powerhouses that require 5x same weapon type in your Grid to be in full effect.
--- Magna Cravis, used for Accessory unlocks. DROP RATE UNKNOWN, PLEASE CONFIRM. I've beaten 3x Ragnarok and have found two, once Vice-MVP (Plat chest) and once as a drop.
--- Relic Fragment. DROP RATE UNKNOWN, PLEASE CONFIRM. I have not found a single one in my three completed raids, so these are NOT GUARANTEED FROM PARTICIPATING. These combine with Regalia Fragments to form Magna Cravis. Relic Fragments are for all elements, but you need Regalia Fragments of that specific element to make them. Good news for those who have a very strong element of one type, I guess.

    Friend list changes:
    - Increased Friend List size for players of Rank 100 and above! You gain 1 slot per 2 Ranks after 100. For old players, this is applied when you Rank up.
    - You can set the Eidolons you want your Friends to see from your Profile -> Status. You want your Friends to see your LMB Echidna (Dark element) in Fire? You can do that now! Please don't troll people by denying people useful Eidolons. Setting Mii to every slot might seem funny, but it won't be all that funny when you have 0/50 Friends.

    Gem Gacha changes:
    - 2 more R Hime of each element are now in the Gem Gacha!
    - N quality fodder removed entirely. I don't know how you're meant to level up Union Guardians after this, but good luck, I guess! This change is still bloody amazing.
    - 1 pull removed entirely.
    - Daily free Gem Gacha pull is now a 10-pull.
    - You can "only" do 15x 10-pull for 1k Gems each. This should roughly give you as much stuff as the previous 100x Gem Gacha with N-garbage in it. EU player rejoice, Gem Quests are no longer the focus of your goddamn life.
    - Daily Mission for Gem Gacha pull has been changed from 3 to 1.

    Other changes:
    - One more page of stickers! Everyone wanted more stickers, right!
    - Maximum inventory is now 500 for Weapons and Eidolons, and a whopping 1000 for Accessories! Please read "temporary changes" before buying more slots.
    - Daily limit of the Shop exchanges have generally been changed from 1 per day to 50 per week. This makes turning your trash into useful stuff a lot more convenient:

    - Monthly limit of Regalia exchanges went up from 20 to 30. Those who already bought their 20 5-cost Regalias, sorry, you missed out.
    - The 150 Dragonic Eye Special Miracle Ticket is now available for those fabled Omega Space Whales. These allow you to pick P2W Eidolons as well, but more importantly, Limited Edition Hime such as Thunder Aphrodite. Supposedly. It's not like I can test.

    Temporary changes:
    - Accessory Quests can now be run 5 times a day, until Feb 20th!
-- Accessory Quests are also half AP.
-- "Challenge chances UP!!" probably doesn't mean increased droprate, but probably just that you can do more.

    - Old players (read: before maintenance) got 100 Weapon slots, 100 Eidolon slots and 300 Accessory slots for absolutely free.
-- These free upgrades will supposedly fail if you have bought too many slots already, such as you bought up to 410 Weapon slots. The upgrade can't get you to 510 slots and will thus fail entirely.
-- These upgrades are in your "Will Expire" Gifts. If your Will Expire Gift box is flooded from Union event still, make sure you pick these up from there before you upgrade your inventory spaces!

    - All players get one Premium 10-roll for absolutely free! Get absolutely nothing and curse your neighbor for getting a free P2W Eidolon!
-- This is only for the non-Rate up Gacha, the one with Michael's face on it.
    - All players get one Premium 1-roll for absolutely free every day until Feb 20th!
-- Also only for the non-Rate up Gacha, the one with Michael's face on it.

    - Login bonus with nice amounts of Jewels (1000 on day 1!) and other goodies, such as SR Miracle Ticket on day 3. Somebody please make us a modern list of SR Queens, I have my hands full and I have no idea who to pick.

    Did I miss anything?

Hm...which 12 R Hime were added to the Gem Gacha? Is there a list out there? The wiki seems to not have them listed yet.

The encyclopedia in Sanahtlig's toolbox gives you a quick peek on stuff like this, currently the new Hime are listed as "04/03/19" coming, but we got them a bit early.

The decent ones are Oto-Hime (Water) and Caspiel (Wind).

For those of us who are stuck with Hercules (two Union events away from Shingen), which skill do you suggest is a must have for her?

    Dejnov.
Overlimit is nice, supposedly, but remember that debuffs > buffs.

My thoughts about SR miracle worth hime are:
Fire: Hephastus (no a-frame def debuffs on fire SSR), maybe Brynn as heal if no Ama/off element heal like Sol.. P.S. NEVER use Sol with Ares - she removes burn so Ares loses much damage.
Wind: Oberon as debuffer if no Hastur, maybe Itaqua as heal, definitely wind Rami as buffer. No need to pick a damage dealer - there are a lot of them.
Thunder: theoreticaly Cyclops, Krishna, but i'm not sure.
Water: we already have sr heal As Nike, so my options : Venus, Triton, Belphy.
Light : Diana is #1 definitely, not Belobog - we already have event Attar and Demeter.
Dark: Belzy, Nyarly, maybe D Diana

Add your thoughts about list plz if you can.
Personaly I'm trying to choose between wind Rami and light Diana.

P.S. both single premium pulls were r fodder garbage, 10chain - Chernobog and Volos

For those whose teams are alright enough such that any particular SR won't really strengthen you, you may instead focus on fulfilling requirements instead.

For Thunder, if you do not have a 2nd defender, getting Kingu would allow you to clear that floor in tower quest that asks for 2 thunder defenders. Also, it is one step closer to 3 defenders for both water GO if you like to stick with element advantage. (for the 3rd defender, if you don't pick up Raiko or Athena, you'll have to wait for the SR hime Hlin in late May.

Similarly, for Fire, if you need a 2nd defender for wind tower quest (assuming you have Kishar as your first), you should be able to choose Fire Eligor.

Confirmed that the healing boost affects the cap for Andromeda (lv1 went from 1600 -> 1680)
