Kinshi IS Elemental Attack + BG Increase!

Herc can have 15BG per attack during her buffs, while Shingen will sit at 14.5 thanks to her passive effect. For everyone else, if you have a lot of buffs for combo attacks, then you cut down on 1 attack overall. In some cases that is enough to Burst a turn earlier. It kinda depends if you can make use of the extra 2BG per attack or not.

Huh, interesting, so they did change the stat pairing up. And changed the amount too; Kinshi's +40% as opposed to Nandi's +30%.
Actually, now that I look at things again, they've done similarly with the +attack/+15% defense pairing. Iwanagahime and Python are at +30% element, while Stolas and dark Iwanagahime are at +40% character.

damn Kinshi is better than I thought then. I assumed she was char ATK. glad I have her MLB on DMM.

I have to admit I do not know the drill about the rewards I should focus on, especially as a new player. I will try to get the gun (and maybe one copy of the eidolon for... research purpose...), but after that... Tickets? Gems?

"As much as you can" is a good idea. Pots are high priority since they allow you to farm more.

But unless you can farm Ultimates, please don't expect all that much. The Eidolon and the first SSR weapon are pretty cheap now, so you can probably farm those even from Expert, but otherwise...
