This used to be true, but now that Ragnarok Disaster raids are here, I've found myself basically ignoring Ult help requests. Why should I spent 5 Seeds for an Ult when I can spend 5 Seeds for a Rag? If I need to farm Regalia, it's much better for me to host one myself. The point is, it might be better to ask your Union to help out in Discord or something, since I'm not sure you can rely on randoms coming to help out in Ults anymore.

It's retarded how they didn't drop Ult BP requirement to 3 or something, really.

Thanks again! A couple more follow-ups if you all don't mind:

    1. Which himes can paralyze? I have only seen dizzy before, usually from Mordred or Morgan's soul weapon (ally casting dizzy is sometimes why I lose light boss raids btw - it goes off unpredictably, like when I have Joan's dmg cut up... It helps when it starts spamming those 20k+ attacks, but not that helpful before.)

    2. Only started being able to clear AQ3 last week and AQ4 this week, so, small stash of SR/SSR accessories so far. What is a good strategy for accessories? Upgrading an SSR from 1 to 50 costs a fortune even using lvl1 SR as fodder. Is it more cost effective to upgrade SR to lvl 20-25 (and use them while I get more SSR) then use the upgraded SR as fodder? I can optimize this with enough time at the accessory calculator, but why reinvent the wheel if there is already some kind of rule of thumb out there.

Basically just Awakened Thor. Technically also Arianrhod. There are others, but it's basically only these two. And to be noted is that Para is only reliable during Union Events, thanks to the 100 Affliction Grail buff.

If you want to see everyone who has Paralyze, the encyclopedia in Sanahtlig's toolbox has a list of Hime. Just ctrl+f for Para.

The important thing to note on Accessories is that leveling up Accessories that aren't level 1 costs an arm and a leg of Gems. So when leveling up, make sure you hit straight to your target level (30 for Rs, 40 for SRs), or in the case of SSRs, halfway. Personally I use the 1-2-3-4 method for SSRs, which means using 1 N, 2 Rs, 13 SRs (totally 3, right?) and 4 SSRs (all of the same element). This gets you pretty much exactly halfway to level 50.

Well, for veterans, the Gem cost doesn't matter all that much anymore, since Gem Gacha got buffed.

Right when Rags came out? I don't remember seeing that in the second anniversary patch notes...

Good to know though. We'll probably get that later, then. One day(tm) I'll actually get around to updating the Encyclopedia proper and dig up the Ult reduction date.

August 10 update is what Bear is thinking of (ok, 8 months ago would be a long time ago for DMM players)
Standard went down to 10 AP
Expert went down to 15 AP or 2 BP
Ultimate went down to 30 AP or 3 BP
Ragnarok went down to 50 AP

So it seems, thanks good sir.

In other news, christ, that's also the last patch notes on the DMM wiki. Whoever was copypasting to there must've gotten tired of it. That's most unfortunate.
