In actual fact, that part is the fun bit for me. But if you're certain you're not going to get very far, then:
* Check the missions for tower levels 7 and 8. Build your two best teams with no hime in common, one for level 7 and one for 8. Use them on floors 1 and 2.
* Go through the next 2 days using whatever himes will get you the best clearance of the missions. Seriously, the first 6 levels of the tower should be possible for most any player if they have enough himes to attempt them.
* On day 4, use those two teams you created and see how you do.
If you barely scrape through, then plan to need 2 keys per floor for 9 and 10. This means first attempt off-element so you can meet mission requirements by finishing the boss with a weak but on-element team, and you're not making more on-element hime unavailable than you absolutely have to. If it goes wrong, don't worry - it's a learning experience. Then, for floor 11, you've got both your best teams available. Either go off-element then best team for 11, then off-element then best team for 12, or if you're certain this isn't going to work, you've still got 4 runs on 11.
You will want every tower medal you can get for weapon bricks. If you can't get to 10k in one tower, you will definitely get there in 2 (first tower, I had 9,990 - I was literally the highest-scoring player who couldn't buy a brick). And it's just 16 fights over 8 days, many of which are 1 or 2 stages only. So very low commitment for a decent reward, exactly what new players should be doing.
