Well, this won't help anyone since I've been busy and there's only a few hours left of the final day of Tower, but here is my extremely rushed thingy for the later half.
No idea if I can actually do it, but oh well. I guess I'll find out.
Notice that anything that isn't perfect score is unlikely to land in top50, much less top20.
In other news, as mentioned, the Tower Event page is gone, but it should be accessible if anyone digs up the eventID from the gamefiles or something. This has happened multiple times before (only on Nutaku as far as I know) and they have always fixed it a few days (or a few weeks) later. Everyone will get their Ranking rewards, just after a bit.
So, the second Dark Tower has ended. For future reference, here are the winners:
Good work, everyone.
Well, a most unexpected thing: only 11 people with full scores and only 9 people with -10 points. And a total of 46 people with -80 points or better. That's... huh. I didn't think for a moment that I'd get to top50 this time around.
And 8/20 people were Chinese(/Japanese?) players, har.
Anyway. Ranked Towers are now over. Next Tower will have some changes to it, off the top of my head:
- No more rankings.
- No more turn bonuses.
- All missions unified, so no longer the need to bring "2 of x-type" into some floors. NOTICE THAT YOU MUST BRING 4 HIME TO THE FIRST SIX FLOORS NOW!!!
- "higher floors made easier", whatever that means.
- The amount of Medals which can be earned has dropped from ~20k to ~10k.
- Hime can now be used 3 times per event, significantly making things easier from our current "2-day cooldown" system.
Later down the line, turn bonuses come back. Not sure when this happens and I can't be arsed to check, but don't expect it for months. Notice that you'll drop 10 points per TWO turns, up from our current FIVE turns.
And about one year from now, Tower brings back rankings and introduces floors 21-25F. Or something. I can't be arsed to check.
So yeah, RIP this thread. See you in a year or so, I guess.
I'm not going to make a proper post for this Tower. This post from whopping 17 months ago has basically what you need. Scroll down and you'll find videos of the clears, as well as the plan for 17F-20F. Notice that the "higher floors" are now easier, whatever that means. I assume 16F+ has less HP and/or do less damage, I don't know. There will be no bonus Medals for clearing fast, so you can just make steady and strong teams instead of risky high-hitters anyway.
But what you need to remember is that you need to run FOUR HIME TO THE FIRST SIX FLOORS. We've been using two Hime for years, so people are going to fuck that up. Again, BRING A FUCKING FULL TEAM TO THE FIRST FEW FLOORS.
