Thread: Tower Megatread

So, my Thunder Tower setup:

I know I'm very late, but real life and work has kept me very busy. And the little time that I had I spent on trying to farm Delphys.
Some notes, as usual:
1. This is based entirely on Cobble's translation. I haven't really bothered to cross-reference him with the DMM wiki, so if there's any mistakes, they're clearly all his fault, mmmk?
2. I noticed that Wind has some god AWFUL Hime quality outside of SSRs. I had some serious trouble trying to fill up slots for this Tower. Too bad I don't have Wind Rami.
3. On a related note to #2, be VERY wary of debuffing enemies in this Tower. This means take floors 8, 9, 13 and 14 seriously. Wind's sources of Cleanse: Soul's EX skill, Set (SSR), Wind Poseidon (Limited SSR, debuff prevention instead of Cleanse), Wind Apep (Limited R) and Behemoth (Eidolon, takes a good amount of time to be available).

Since I couldn't get 10k points for Wind Kaiser, I'm pretty sure I'll fall a bit short of completing all missions. Hopefully I'll at least get to top100 this time, sheesh.

The event banner says it ends at 23:59. Last tower i got burned because i didn't realize it ended at 12. Does anyone know if they really changed the ending time or is it still 12 and the banner is wrong?

Yeah, they changed it a lot, last one is 12, first one is 20...

To be safe, assume that the last day is shorter.

Since I have a loooooooong shift in the evening, I had to get to do 11-15F Tower immediately after reset.

9900 Medals. Failed on-element F15 run despite having Gaia.
I underestimated the Rage Restraint spam and got entirely rekt by it. Should've just forgotten about being able to Full Burst (since non-Rage OD WILL remove one character from Bursting) and Bursted the Rage bar down. I thought I'd have the damage output to take the Rage bar down since Gaia could keep me alive for quite the while, but nope, once first Rage OD came around it was just zero damage output.

Aside from that, went quite well. Much better than what I expected.

Got 10710 medal this tower, I'm planning to do 15F within 9 turn by do a burst of 3 in stage 2 and get ready to full burst in stage 3 but Gaia got enough bg so have to hold the burst. Also I'm keep forgot to use Aether 3rd ability.

First tower event I completed all missions, which is pretty good result (at least for me), especially when comparing it to my wind tower flop. It was also nice confusing people by using Solomon on 15F on wind team (actually both teams).
10670 medals in total.

8990 points. I completed every level first attempt, missed every single 5-girls-survive objective, and completely failed to get anywhere on floor 15. But then, I'd used all my best himes on floors 13 and 14 to get there, so not a big surprise. Overall I'm very happy with that result. I also don't have a weapon crying out for the limit break this time. I might just save them in case something good shows up. Thanks as always to all the commenters here, especially you Slashey - I don't have your kh line up, but your notes help me focus on what I need.

I was most proud this time on my floor 12 "total immunity" grid. Didn't even need it (boss kill before ouigi) but always nice to know I can field a team who is un-killable for a turn.
