I'm pretty sure that they have a cap, but that cap is probably too high to reach.

As such, HP mostly just makes your heals weaker during Sloth. But keep in mind that Sloth DOES Overdrive eventually, which is where HP shines. There could be some use for some people to run HP in order to survive that. But usually, better stick to Resistance.
