Well, 1/3, 1/2 and 1/2 all in one was utter hell and took me like 50 tries, but got it:
Here is a "safe" version, which was 2/3 and 1/2:
And the "safe" version in off-element:

And finally, here is the new scores done with the "safe" version in off-element and the risky version against Water:
That's #20 in Best right now and #15 Total. But, I'm not the only person running today, so I expect to drop out of top30.

    Oof effort

    Good work though, I assume?..

    Good work, everyone.

I'm very surprised by the variety in Best, honestly. I thought it would be one go-to build, and if you didn't have it you're fucked. But we're seeing 11 Light, 8 Thunder and 1 Fire team. Now, obviously there is a lot of winners for each element, but we have one person who ran Vishnu, one person who ran Perkunas, a couple who ran SR Tyr. A huge shame how I can't see the back-up Hime, since they were VERY important in this event. Oh, and Eidolon side in Thunder we have Phuls, Niddhoggr, Kirins and Girimehkalas. Light had one Hagith too. That surprised me as well, I was sure it'd be just pure Niddhoggrs and Managarms.

I wish there was lots of videos posted for all these slightly different builds. You put RAIKO in a FIRE team? I mean sure, she probably got blasted on turn1, but still.

Next Skill Checker-kun event has been announced. It should be most damage in a single turn again. This time though, it feels kinda pointless since the only that matters is that you've managed grind Medea (T4 Solomon) by the last Sunday of the event. If it wasn't for that, this could be fun times again...

    Double postan'

So, since nobody has said a single damn thing about this Skill Checker-kun, let's talk about it. There are two gimmicks to this one.

One, you get hurt by a set % of your max HP every turn, which Rage being a higher %. This means that Vigor is mostly out of the picture. In theory you could run zero Defender weapons and then just heal up, but... since you can safely drop down to next to no HP, why bother with Vigor when you can just use a Pride Grid?

Two, every single turn the boss buffs up 5% Def. And as it turns out - something that I didn't even know before this - is that -50% Def isn't the cap. The cap is to drop an enemy TO -50%. So, if you're Full Bursting on turn 8 for your Kaiser, the boss will have buffed up 35% more Def, so you need to bring -85% Def to reach -50% Def. This makes debuffs far more important than what they are usually. Also, this means that if one is to minmax, you bring debuffers and kill them off (usually with Zeal from Devil Accessory set). This gives you access to at least 40% more Def reduction, or -50% if you have access to Nefertem.

    Here is my run:
Honestly? I could go for higher. For example, killing off Nuwa for Perkele would be an easy ~700k more damage. Killing off Mammon would get me Marduk, who could then buff up some Atk as well as do an extra ~1m due to Fortress echo burst... though, due to Mammon's nukes, it's possible that would be about +-0 exchange. In addition Baal and Tyr who usually aren't in my team are just using pure random SSR Accessories instead of the good shit, because who cares. Dat Ancient bonus on Tyr, 10/10 minmaxing.

But again... why bother with all the minmaxing when people who have unlocked Medea are just going to dominate? I'm currently sitting at #9 for Best and #10 in Total, but looooots of people are going to just run Medea today and I'll drop down anything between 20-50 slots. Or a 100, if Nutaku has that many people with wide open wallets.

I am going to miss interesting Skill Checker-kun events, though. For the next year, they're all "total damage done", with the sixth one being five turns and the rest 10+ turns. And you know what that means - the only thing that matters is that you have Managarm and Awakened Michael. How very interesting!

Not down my end of the score table!

I put in a set of scores first weekend around 10m per, with 15m on my best. I then made a couple of small improvements on Monday to keep above the line, landing 310 in the end. I could have done better, but the prize difference was tiny so not worth it. Good going to anybody who got Medea by the end, though, without burning 9800 jewels to do it. I’m gradually shuffling towards a Medea, but won’t get there this month. Pages are just too infrequent. I could have done more prep though, so only myself to blame. Have to say, the grind is beginning to get me down. It almost feels the devs want us to go whale, or give up. I may eventually take the hint at this rate.

    Good work, everyone.

Wow, there's... actually quite a lot I want to say. I guess first off, congrats to Calder for being the stronkest Shingen on the server! Second, the Nutaku original bug of not properly updated lists strikes again. Third, is this the first time we see DARK up there in the rankings?!?

I bolded the off-element debuffer sacrifices. Unsurprisingly Nefertem was all over the place, but there was plenty of other Hime as well! Which I always find impressive. Sadly, we don't know what Hime replaced these ones for the full burst, but Hime with more debuffs and/or high burst gain is a likely bet.

In addition, teams were VERY varied. As expected, lots of debuff Hime are showing up in their own elements, but still, we had like almost NO two same teams? Things are always way more interesting when there is more than one correct team. Sadly, the next Skill Checker-kun will be 5 turns (which will probably mean one correct team) and ever after it'll be 10+ turns. Which means... Managarm+Michael or get out. Wow, so very interesting. Anyway, a large reason why we're having such varied elements and teams here is mostly due to Medea. Since people are pretty much guaranteed to have Medea only for one element, this kinda forces them into playing that one element for this event. Well, technically you CAN use Medea without her Soul weapon since the AoE effect of it doesn't help here, but you wouldn't want to miss out on 40% elemental, would you...?

All in all, a pretty good Skill Checker-kun event if you ask me. It would've been better if Medea hadn't been around for it I think, but oh well. Good enough!

I did say that Medea would dominate. It turns out getting 50x+ attack damage in a single turn just from your Soul in a competition of one turn damage is preeeeeetty gooooood.
