Do you actually have an item? Check in Menu-Items.
Button "Use Item" should be active if you have one.

You should never use an item (that is to say "a brick" as we call them here) once a weapon has 3-stars to it already. You use bricks to get TO 3-stars, and then FLB it using other, readily available materials.

There are five different costs for limit breaking 3-star SSR weapons further:
    1. Dragon Eye weapons (most notably VERY expensive for all mats)
    2. Hime weapons (most notably somewhat expensive for all mats)
    3. Advent weapons (most notably expensive for Advent mats WHICH YOU CANNOT FARM LATER)
    4. Union event weapons (most notably expensive for T4 Crystals, which are candy these days)
    5. Labyrinth weapons (most notably expensive for... nothing, really)

The Yatagarasu Gun you linked a picture for is an Advent weapon, so it falls into category #3. So you don't brick that, you just need to farm some Fire Ults and you can FLB that weapon.

I hope that helps, I'm not 100% sure what you asked so I kinda went into all directions.

Some of them yes, some of them maybe. I feel like the only weapon that is absolutely worth the 15 draco eyes is the Merc Axe for water mains, because Merc axe is the only AVAILABLE source of strong exceed for water (the Demon UE weps have strong exceed, but we don't have access to them for the remainder of the year). The Ukko axe is probably worth it is as well, but it's not as integral for a good grid as the Merc Axe. Personally, I don't think the Golden Staff is worth it because of Bethor Bow. Bethor Bow is a lot easier to get ahold of and fits in well with the best phantom grid in Wind right now (in my opinion), which is bow. But I'm not super well-informed in Wind so take it with a grind of salt. And finally, Ascalon is sometimes worth it, sometimes not. It depends on how you plan your grid. If you plan to go for a phantom sword grid, then it is worth it. If you have an extra "slot" after fulfilling the phantom weapon requirement and getting sufficient exceed cap extension, then it is worth it. Otherwise, Ascalon is not worth it in my opinion.

    Notes:
    - When I say strong exceed, that just means it's exceed with some sort of base assault attached to it. Ex. Merc Axe with Assault(L) + Exceed(M)
    - "Sufficient exceed cap extension" is basically enough exceed to increase the burst damage cap by 100%. More info here:

I see, thx for detailed answer! Also, it's probably worth to add to original guide, that if one gets two (or more) hime weapons, it's generally advised to keep both and FLB with bricks separately.
