[Event 144] Almisael (Guiding Wing) raid event

We've missed threads for these events:
[Event 143.5] Thunder Labyrinth (sadly, the very last Labyrinth event...)
Powersurge tried to make some threads, including one for this event, but since he is putting even less effort into his threads than I am, I am going to be a dick about it and just do my own thing instead of using his threads. Hi powersurge! Sorry! Thanks for trying to liven these forums up!

First off, I just gave up on trying to get 300 Reds in this event. It's just a ridiculous grind as Rag+ Purple chests continue to give 3 Blues instead of Reds.

Now, onto the important stuff. I mean, I have been really busy so this post is coming during the VERY FINAL HOURS of the event so sadly it won't really help anyone but... here goes anyway. Notice that errors are likely, I have had very little time in doing anything for this boss.
    Abilities and mechanics:

First wave, 110m HP, 4 orbs.
Huge elemental resistance to all but Fire.
Immune to movement stopping debuffs (Charm, Para, Flame Bind)(Nutaku has translated this as "immune to everything", thanks Nutaku!)
(I was unable to land BP on either boss, so I assume that these bosses are immune to that despite it not being mentioned anywhere)
Overdrive (both normal and Rage): Heals 10% of your party's HP (2000 max) + self Def+ (lower HP, higher Def)

TRIGGER: First action: Deals 99% current HP damage + gives Happiness buff (doesn't expire) + gives your party Regen (2000/t)(doesn't expire)(can be overwritten by lesser Regens)
Trigger: 35% HP: Deals 33% current HP damage + Gives your party 50% healing done + 50% healing cap buffs (doesn't expire)
Trigger: being hit 11 times or more during one turn: Deals 33% current HP damage to your entire party (cannot kill you) (doesn't consume Orbs)

Normal attack: Applies Charm to all (2t, effectively 1t)

Second wave, 130m HP, 2 orbs.

TRIGGER: First action: Dispels ALL buffs from your party + prepares RIGHT gun
TRIGGER: 50% HP: Dispels ALL buffs and Cleanses ALL debuffs from herself and your party
    Trigger: 25% HP: All damage + self-atk/def+ + all atk/def-
Trigger: being hit 11 times or more during one turn: single small damage to one character (OD takes priority!)

When RIGHT gun is up (even during Stun!):
    Normal attacks: Single damage + self-atk up 3t (effectively 2t) (doesn't stack?)
Overdrive: All damage + prepares LEFT gun (removes RIGHT gun)

When LEFT gun is up (even during Stun!):
    Normal attacks: All damage + atk/def- (4t (effectively 3t)
Overdrive: Single large damage + prepares RIGHT gun (removes LEFT gun)

Some words on how to fight:

Bring debuffs. I know right, more content where debuffs actually matter! Def- and Atk- are a godsend in the second fight in particular.

The first boss literally cannot kill you. NOTHING she does can actually kill you as they're all current HP based attacks. However... Happiness kills you instantly if you reach full HP. This is a rather interesting mechanic, as you need to balance out gaining HP for the next fight and NOT wiping your party to this fight. Losing HP is easy if you bring high combo rate characters, but then you'll be completely without HP for the next fight, so what to do?

Well, sadly, everyone will have to find their own solution depending on their available characters. Here are some options:
Parac + Dian: Parac means that you'll lose all your HP all the time, so you don't even need to remove the massive Regen that the boss gives you. Also, Dian's potions means that you can just instantly heal up at the start of the next fight.
Romu/Amaterasu: Overwrite the Regen, and then race the Overdrive healing clock by sheer damage output.

The second boss is a lot trickier. There are two hard moments in this fight: When you enter the fight from the previous one (if your pacing wasn't amazing, you're gonna be low on HP!) and Rage phase where the boss constantly hits you hard. So the way this fight goes, Right gun goes single target pew pew until AoE Overdrive, then AoE pew pews and single target big hit, then back to single targets. So you will need both heals for AoEs as well as countermeasures for the single target hits. And this is AFTER completing a completely different type of fight, so you can't bring whatever team you please. If you can get here with Parac though, you should be in good shape - you will only need to worry about Overdrives and Triggers. Just remember that you will have no HP when you enter the fight...

My personal experience and opinions on the fight:

Honestly, I think this Heroic sucks. It really, REALLY depends on your roster. Good side? There are plenty of viable tactics, and the roster requirement isn't EXACT. It's just that there are some ridiculously good Hime for this fight, such as Dian or Shamash. But other valuables can be Beelzebub (taking 1000/t is pretty nice for the first fight, just DON'T DIE TO IT which can happen!), or SRs like turtling-GOD Culyune, Konohana-Sakuya and Buer can be used well.

But yeah, having to do two completely different fights WHILE ALSO bringing full debuffs is really rough. EVEN MORE SO in an element like Fire, which sucks total ass in Grids right now if you haven't invested in Fire Hime weapons. If this event had come after Phaleg+ fight which also buffs Phaleg Staves (something that hasn't been discussed on these forums because these forums are deaaaad), then the fight would've had far, far more leeway to it. Now it's... pretty much a crapshoot about what kinda roster you have.

Personally? I just looked at my Fire roster, raised an eyebrow since apparently I have found three Fire Limiteds from Limited SSR Guaranteed gachas, slammed those (Shamash-Tish-Artemis) into my team with Awakened Mars and just one-shot the fight with my utter garbage Grid. Pay2win, motherfuckers. I haven't even noticed getting those since my Fire Grid is so awful using a Fire team isn't worth even considering, but I guess once Phaleg Staves are here my Fire will be decent a force to be reckoned with. I just wish that Labyrinth events wouldn't have been thrown into the trash, since a Labyrinth Sword Grid would've been a decent alternative to Phaleg Staff Grid but... sigh. I guess Phaleg+ grind it is, then.
