Thread: What do I need to CC gold druid Laurier?

The Japanese wiki doesn't seem to mention it, unless google translate messed something up.

Druids do not need to be CC'ed. They are special classes, so you could just max her level and affection and awaken her.

I see. Doesn't that mean that the unit has less potential due to the 50 levels of stats she won't gain? I'm only playing for two weeks so awakenings are long way off. I already have Krull in addition to Iris, so I am well covered in healing for now, and her magic attack doesn't seem very impressive. I could use the summons as fodder, but should I really bother or am I better off ignoring her for now?

Special units are usually more versatile than normal units like a dragon shaman being able to act as a mage and healer.

I wouldn't bother raising Laurier since I don't find her useful in the long run imo. I would focus on getting the basic silvers from Katie's tutorial maps and story maps and build your core team from there. Now that they took out Cloris' emergency mission tutorial, you need to get a valkyrie (Mischa preferably) and another witch (dupe Calliope or Nenya) from story maps.

I did manage to get Cloris just before they took away the drills, and also got extra copies from the revival. And I also have Yuyu, so I'm ok on witches. I did a few summons when they had the instant level 40 and got a few good units from it and they've been a great help for a new player.

Oh, that's good to hear. Have you combined your Cloris copies yet? If not, good. Not sure if you CC'ed your main one yet, but her skill changes once CC'ed. That means you should save the copies until you CC them at level 30 and then combine them to your main copy for the SU.

Going back to Laurier, if you ever pull a gold you don't want or a duplicate unit or a non-awakening material, you could always sell them for rainbow crystals. Rainbow crystals are a new type of currency that you get when you sell gold+ units. Golds give you 20, plats give you 100, and blacks give you 400. These are all for premium units btw. If you go to the TP, you would notice the first four units require rainbow crystals to buy them. 400 for plats and 1000 for blacks.
