I just AWed my gold Iris so I want to use my two extra copies for CR. I'm thinking of CCing at least one for the guaranteed SU, should I bother with the second one too?

is a 50% SU chance worth the effort for CC-ing a unit to you? I would on DMM but maybe not nutaku if I lacked silver healers.
