If you are a new player, just take the whole next week to level your current units. This is a star event and it will thus last 2 weeks so you could technically take one and a half week off to just level your units and then come back and try again.

Take this week off event and level up your team. Star Breaks are two week long, and you only need to three-star each map once, so you can relegate this task to the weekend of a second week if you feel your team underperforming.

I'm relatively new.

This is my second event. First time doing a "star rush" type event.
I have completed 5 maps., 3 of which are 3 stars.
I failed badly on Desert battle X. No way will I complete that!!
However I have completed Desert Brigands about 10 times.

I have yet to receive a star. I have received 4 Lady Rogue Harissa's drops. How do I know haw many stars I have?
Is it counted anywhere?

I'm level 88 with about 5 units evolved, 0 units awakened and am hoping to get a low level Shuka, so 15 to 20 stars, hopefully.

Your stars are the mission ranking. All enemies killed, no units defeated, and completing the mission are the star requirements, and you have to meet all three in a single run to get the full three stars from a mission. Repeating does not get you additional stars.

Currently sitting on 20 stars can't seem to get 3 stars on battle x cause my second tank just isn't up to scratch yet aha and haven't even tried the final map yet

Final Map is bit crazy with only 1 HP. Gonna find alternative way to do it.

Oh, so that's not a typo...damn...

Well, I'm currently at 22 stars, just need to figure how to guarantee survivability on stage 8...could be one of 3 things (dps isn't up to par, healing is inadequate, tank defense is lacking) or maybe all 3 but I'll figure something out. Also the first time I had to yank my prince so maybe his 19% boost could be the winning factor in all of it...

24 stars obtained. Well, all that's left is the final G map and then it's rogue hunting time. Though I might need to redo the 1st G map for 100% drop completion to get that tin can. Hopefully 3 tin cans are sufficient to bring my lv. 69 Clissa all the way to lv. 80.

70-80 for blacks is 25000 exp. So 3 won't be enough

Technically it's 24999 exp. That said, 3 platinum armours and 9 black spirits can grant 24000 exp, so provided YoxalLoyal doesn't mind grinding her level a little before using them, they should be enough (not to mention it would be a waste to use four at that level). Some handy experience tables can be found here. Since it isn't made entirely clear in the thread, the "left" columns refer to how much experience is needed to reach the next level when a unit of the appropriate rarity is at the specified level (you want that experience remaining to be that number or lower).
