Thread: Worst Units

There are many threads about good units. So lets discuss about worst units in the game starting from silver rarity to black or maybe class-wise. The aim of this thread is getting the info about avoiding these units. Dont tell me every unit has its own use :c we're just comparing it to others.

Most would agree the silver rogues are pretty bad. Unless you have AW Berna, I guess.

Samurai as a whole are awful too.

generally most blacks are somewhat useful , if not top tier. As eab said, silver rogues are pretty bad.


Actually talking about silvers : Elaine is not that great of a duelist either , but u can use her as a cheap deploy for goblin rushes i guess. silvers archers have their uses , healers are okaish , maybe the male healers since they heal less....but they can be used for male maps. Generally silvers roques/duelists are crappy in this rarity.


Golds : Robert (or whatever the male gold healer is). Is the worst gold healer and can be replaced even by a alissa pre AW. He can be used for farming male aff items tho.
Vincent is not that great either. He costs a bit too much and doesn't do enough IMO. monks , samurai and stuff like that is pretty bad at this rarity as well. Stray is pretty much useless preAW (actually i dunno if his aw makes him good enough to replace any of the plat archers either in any situation...)


Plat : samurais again... Maybe the crapload of other niche event units as well....like momiji or azami i guess.

Momiji is great if 10/10 skilled as a ganker i think and i was expecting someone to imply sailors aaand... my pegasus rider stella :S
You said all blacks have its uses but there is liana, im wondering if iris is better than liana in most maps which units dont require much healing and -> swarm maps.

momiji can be replaced with any barbarian , seeing as her skill transforms her into 1. Actually i like sailor's usage , but the one we have aren't that great. I mean , i like rika (the pupeteer) and seeing as sailors have somewhat the same skill , but can be healed is a + in my book.

Pegasus riders are quite niche , as well , yeah , but they should get buffed later

Liana is a great unit, especially if there's stuns abound. That said, her usefulness does get smaller since they made all healers reduce the stun timer.

Sailors fit a decent role and peggy riders can be useful. Albeit i guess Stella will not be all too great considering most things in existence can replace her.

The problem with Liana is that she's a gacha black when she's supposed to be an event black. As an event black, she's great. As a gacha black, she's an eyesore.

Farune is considered the worst gacha black, because she doesn't accomplish much more than what Solano already does.

Can't argue with that, she is rather expensive. That said, she's wonderful when there are no UP requirements.

Silver rogues are kind of redundant given the game hands you a free platinum one fairly quickly.

Samurai are underwhelming. Great idea in theory but they lack the staying power for their cost to play. If they cost about the same as Soldiers they could be decent. Too niche and you can't deploy them fast enough.

I'm not too wild about Silver Bandits. No idea how rarer ones are as I have never had any. By contrast Silver Valkyries are cheaper and glean points from kills so I prefer them. Ideally I'd use neither but depends on what I have.

I had a Pegasus Rider with my first account and I could never get it to work. I liked the idea of it though.

As far as Black units go I rolled Sophie pretty early on. A lot of the time I use her as a pinch hitter which makes her considerably worse than a lot of black units from a starting account perspective. I have 2 Princesses (gold, platinum - picked up the gold one around time I got Sophie) who hold down the Duelist fort well on their own. But I can see the potential with Sophie for harder maps in the future as a lightning rod or ganker.

what about samurai princess? is she worth at all? clearly skill has to be maxed to be any good
