Ran that map with 2 mages and a witch and didn't have any trouble, granted I did use some higher rarity units than the video. Namely Odette, Victoria and AW Bernice. (I also threw in Saki instead of the valk just for kicks.) You would probably fine as long as your units are decently leveled.

My mikoto and Marius should make short work of those mobs aha plus mehlis

I did 3* it (first try) with one mage, a not-cc lvl 50 Valerie (i used all its copies at the beginning of the game, kappa ; no need to tell you i'm gonna farm the 2nd map). I should add that i haven't any AW unit, my main units are a level 60 cc Adele and a black princess Sybilla level 46. Shao's procs come in handy too (i haven't bashira nor spica so she instantly became my main archer).
Anyway, just pointing out magus aren't compulsory here.

Why you havent got bashira?

Player before she was the free plat I would say.. So he would have Kerry?

Speaking of which, how viable is that tactic for the extra map without Thetis?

Probs just need a unit close to those stats or I would think any high lvl duelist should be fine with a decent healer

I created my account before she was free, i hit level 70 and then took a huge break. I came back and was really pleased to see the commission sortie thing, so i decided to play again, and reached level 100 or so. I then looked for help on internet for the previous event, and that's when i first heard of Bashira.
I was kinda annoyed on the moment, but i eventually decided that i invested too much time on this account to start a new one (although i started one on dmm).

I do have Kerry, but in my opinion she is nowhere near to be as usefull as bashira, sadly.

From what I hear Kerry isn't even much better then the silver valk. And yeah bashira is easily the most helpful archers are used on legit every map apart from a few

Lvl 70 isn't even that high unless you had spent money I would of re rolled that shit aha I re rolled my first account and I was lvl 60 :P and my free summon was Minerva ahaha

This event seemed fairly easy to me compared to the ones before like Solano's. Not even one unit fell under 50% hp o.o
Also, awakened Berna 1-shoted awakened Rita on last map with skill xD... Best investment ever
That being said, it happens very often, kill rate is huge; Would you guys suggest i do skill awaken for her once it comes out?

I like how Rita uses houses and roofs to attack player.. sneaky :3
